      Dream of out-of-control SUV.

I found this in my dream logs. It's from December 14 2013.

Date: Saturday, December 14 2013. Recent dream: Why is the car starting? - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

"A man who I know has an SUV in waking life. I dreamed his SUV was parked in our yard and I got in the driver's seat and closed the door, It then started up *by closing the door* and (it) crashed into the fence! I tried to get the car to stop, Which I did at first and then I closed the door again and drove on the main road - Which is nothing like it is in awake life - And kept crashing into other cars and/or walls or sides of mountains with the SUV spinning like a top on a merry-go-round. Oh and the car would be accelerating quite fast and I wouldn't be able to control it very well.

What does it mean when or if I drive someone else's automobile which is out of control?"

I then commented about it today:

"This does not sound good to me. People use cars to go places, and if the man's car is out of control driving him places instead of him telling it where to go that's crazy. The SUV crashed into other cars with me inside it and I didn't even make it happen!

EDIT: In hindsight I'm not yet sure if the old me made the car crash or not. "

What do you think? By the way the log is penned can I even tell if I had control of the car on the second try or not? (I could have used a lot of grammatical correction at the time.) When I penned this I had not been aware of the public-domain driving safety films that I now know about and I was cockier in driving then. But, I still would obey the speed limits most of the time in public.

Also, the SUV is a Ford Explorer if I remember it right. I didn't ask the year of it but something tells me "1997".

I can't interpret this, but I've had a very similar dream. I was getting into a white SUV and started driving, but i started losing control and crashed, then went again but this time i was sitting in the passengers seat and the drivers seat was empty, but the car was still driving and crashing/out of control. Felt to me like i was "losing control" of something, not sure what it means though.

I think with my case at least, this may mean the man I'm referring to feels like he has no (or little) control over his life and he's wrecking a lot of things. He's done at least a few odd things like leaving a garden hose on all winter (not mine, I'm just acquainted with him) which caused a bill of hundreds of dollars and, if I recall right, a frozen water pipe that shouldn't have happened.

Is this guy a coworker? It might mean something about your job. Cars can represent vocation. Like taking over his position at work.
