What does homelessness represent if it is not literal homelessness? Home is a place where one feels one belongs, a place where one feels safe, a place where one loves and is loved. For some people religion can offer a place where they have a sense of belonging. For others marriage, love toward another human being. In that sense of the word we all need a home, love, safety. Without that we risk becoming cold blooded like a lizard. |
