Reoccuring dream about husband.

These are anxiety dreams. Anxiety Dreams are largely tests of response, and they will endlessly reoccur until one responds correctly. The correct response is always to quit obsessing. In dreams where one is looking for something lost, the correct action is always to simply say "Screw it. Who needs it" and move on. Yes, you love your husband, which is a good and beautiful thing. But your Dream Mind is looking beyond that. Is it good personally for you to be so entirely invested there, apparently without the ability to every let go. And the time will come to let go. One and then both of you will eventually die. Then one must either let go or be haunted for all eternity. Where one's Treasure is, there will one's heart be also. And here your heart is not your own. Nor is your Heart given to anything of General or Spiritual Significance.

Yes, it is wonderful that your instincts are so monogymous. But sometimes I think that the promiscuity of men is so much more spiritual in an odd way. Men who love ALL Women are so much closer to loving Everything, the True Spiritual Ideal, are they not?

Love need not be attachment. My father once loved our pet cat so much that he swore he would get no other cat when his little sweet thing had died, breaking his heart. Well, soon enough another little four-legged demanding ball of fur came along ordering him to provide food and shelter and away flew all of his resolutions against ever keeping another pet. Love for Everything must eventually win over love for particulars and specifics.

As sweet as it is, your love for your husband is for just one fish in all the sea. you should love the whole Ocean. That is what these dreams are trying to teach you.

And don't worry. whenever you stop looking in any such dream, you always end up in finding. Just recently I had one of those Lost Dreams and, being familiar with them, simply said to myself "Well, screw it... I'll go somewhere else". Instantly a young woman appeared to me and said "Oh, hello Mr. Volont, it is always so nice to run into you, but won't you be late for your one o'clock meeting". And she nodded toward the Office Building that just moments before looked the same as a dozen others. Another while back I was missing my tent and sleeping gear and began to look for it, when I caught myself and said "Forget it... it will only slow me down", and there it was laying a few feet away. Yes, and I had had dreams of losing girl friends I had become enamoured with, but as soon as i stop looking for them... no, it is not them particularly who appear, but ladies who upon further acquaintence seem just as companionable as the ones I had lost.

So, in your dreams, just let go, and see what happens. It won't turn out to be such a bad dream afterall.
