Thread: Dejavu in an adbuction dream

Hello, My name is Shaun and I'm new to the forum. I'm 32 years old and I live in Canada. I had this dream last night I'm hoping to be able to shed some light on. The whole dream felt like it had happened before, but not in another dream, It felt like it had happened in real life. It wasn't the whole picture that made me feel that way either, it was a road I saw in the dream that made me see myself in a past experience riding my bike as a child on this road, which I had not ridden on before and haven't since. I know approximately where the road is itself but couldn't tell you the street name.

In my dream, I was abducted by someone. I remember trying not to look at his face, so I don't know if I know them or not. I was abducted on the same road I escaped on. I remember the person telling me to do something at their house and if I didn't get it done by the time they were back I was going to get beat. I remember thinking to myself in the dream as a spectator at that moment for a few seconds, that I had better get out of there, I don't think I actually had that thought when I was a kid, it felt like this thought was coming from the 32-year-old me in the dream. I was never one to react fast as a child and had to learn the hard way. It's only the last few years I have been in a position to really stay on top and react fast, which makes me think that it was the 32 yr old me. So I quickly got away using my bike by riding down the hill but on the bottom was a long flat road. I remember feeling this road went forever, but it didn't. I could see an another hill going down and I felt very scared and helpless, but something inside me kept me always going. I remember feeling the 32 yr old me the kick in again and say "flag someone down. Do not attempt to get away on your own" and I did. I remember a voice telling me to look at his face and make sure it was not the guy who abducted me and it was a Chinese guy with a really messy car and a baby in the back. There was so much garbage in his car I couldn't sit in the front seat. I had to sit in the back on the floor between the seat and the baby car seat. When I woke up I was very alert about the dream which usually doesn't happen to me, I wrote it down right away.

I have a question, Could this be an old memory of something bad that happened to me? I don't remember much from age 4 to 8 other than a few scattered memories. I was a very hard child to raise too, always getting into trouble and bugging people non-stop, including my sister. I have been emotionally cut off most of my life and also had hard time connecting with people until recently and I want answers and feel as if this is surfacing now cause of all the work I've been doing in my life. Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like something is inside, or telling me something inside. any thoughts?
