Cant make sense of my dreams

So I've had these two separate dreams, one day apart and I think they might be linked because there is one person who appears in both dreams, but on the other hand they're dreams about completely different things unless there's a motif which I'm not getting. I'm not sure how detailed I should be, so I'll just add what I feel is an important part of the dream.

The first dream started off with me coming home with a female ex-coworker of mine(we weren't really close or anything), we talked a bit and made a bet about something which I can't remember, but I was sure I was going to win it, I went to my room and she went to my sisters room, but in the dream it was her own. After a while I looked through my balcony door and saw this man drive past the house, looking straight at me and for some reason I knew it was a bad sign. A few minutes later someone knocked at the door and my coworker opened up to a guy who was all shaken up and with a worried face so she took him up to her room, a few more minutes pass and yet another knock, this time I opened up to two men, both armed who were sent to collect debt money, a very large sum, and said that if they didn't get the money in 20 minutes they would start murdering my family. I said I would pay them instantly and told them to follow me to my sisters room, in which my coworker was with the guy who had knocked earlier. I knocked on the door and my two dogs came running and barking at the door, something which they actually do whenever I knock on her rooms door. The barking led to one of the men panicking and aiming his gun at my dog, I tried to stop him but he shot him regardless. I was furious and in tears so I shot both the men, but two more men knocked on the door soon after. These were armed with machetes which again I used to murder them. The scenario completely changed all of a sudden, I was crying, my dog wasn't dead from the shot but he looked as if he was decaying, not able to stand or walk. At this point I was in the kitchen with my brother and his girlfriend, I was still crying, the only one too, and I thought it would be honorable for my dog to eat his own remains before he passed away, which he ate and then died. I woke up right after that.

The second dream starts off with me in my room, just staring out of my balcony door. For some unknown reason my ex-coworker was in the house and she walked into my room, no words said but I knew what the intentions were. She just sat on a chair for some minutes, staring at me still staring outside. Still no words said I decided to lay down on my bed, she got on the bed too and from that point the dream got sexual. I will not go into details of what did happen and what didn't because that's not the point, but I am a virgin, and at no point in the dream did we have intercourse. Just before that point my brother and his girlfriend got home so she hid in the bathroom where she got caught soon after, I apologized for what had happened before she left and she said it wasn't my fault and that "next time" it would be at her home, then I woke up.

Both are pretty messed up dreams if I may say so, I couldn't make any sense out of either of them nor are they recurring in any way, but the fact that they had a specific person in common makes me think they're somehow linked. That or I'm just overthinking about two very random dreams which I happened to remember.
