Please I need help interpreting a dream Please

In my dream I am a young child. In the dream I'm flying over mountains when i settle down on an edge of a cliff over looking the world. There is an Angel/guide with me hunched down looking down at the world and bringing themselves down to my level. the Angel/Guide is explaining to be the difference between spirits and good/bad that I have a greater purpose. That i am able to see beyond our reality of how we precieve good/bad. the whole time I am sitting down with a white dog sleeping on my lap with a wings. I feel content and understand everything that is been said to me. then the angel/guide rose to there feet looking down at me with a seriousness, but I still felt at ease that I understood it all, he was wearing a goldie /brown dress, . Next thing I know I'm in a different setting. I am still a child and my mother is there holding me down telling me I have to face my true self in order to remember what I need to. there is an old woman stood there waiting for me to face/accept her but i cant because I don't want the memories she holds. The dream was in black / orangie brown. I have experienced dreams before where some is explaining good and bad to me, also telling me of a greater purpose. Can someone please help me interpret.
