      A Long Horseback Ride

Alright, so first I would like to state that I am 25 years old (almost 26), and I am currently single, and without a job at the moment. It is a bumpy ride right now, but anyways.... that is what makes this dream so much stranger.

So, first my dream starts out with my mom giving me a horse as a present. It looked a lot like the one below, but he dark black (almost a deep brown color) went all the way down to the shoulders. The back part was a little more gray on the butt. This is my favorite coloring for a horse though. I remember thinking "she is perfect" when I first saw her. Also, if the "she" didn't give you a hint, it was a mare (female horse). This would be my "dream horse" if I could own one.

Anyways, this horse is perfect in every way. It is almost like it is connected to me in someway. I tell it to go, and it goes as fast as I want it to. If I sit back in the saddle to signal it to slow down, it does so instantly. Almost like we are using the same brain. I like this horse so much that I decide that I want to make a trip to Wichita, Kansas (which is an 8 and a 1/2 hour drive from me, and I can think of no reason why I would decide to go there). ANYWAYS .... lol...

So, I start off my journey, and instead of taking the interstate, I decide to take a smaller highway that goes almost all the way there. I know when I start my trip that at some point I will have to turn, but I don't know where, but I am also not concerned with it at all. I also pack very well for this journey, and the horse is very easy to pack. I also know that I have everything I need packed, and there is still more than enough room to be comfortable (it also doesn't slow down the horse at all).

Next, I travel to Garden City where my grandparents live. (In real life this really would be on my way if I chose to go this way to Wichita). When I get there we get talking, and my grandparents ask me where I got the horse. I tell them it was a gift, and they all tell me that it was a very good horse. (Which my grandpa is a farmer/rancher so I take this a great complement). My grandpa tells me here that he has no worries if I have a companion as dependable as that.

After some time of talking, I return to my journey down the highway. This is when I really notice how fast my horse was. I could easily keep up with the cars around me (the speed limit is 65 on this particular highway), and I was even able to tailgate them if I wasn't careful. I remember feeling like I would have gotten there faster if these cars weren't here, but I also remember telling myself to be patient, and enjoy the "ride". Which I did. It was a lot of fun, and I remember being happy the whole time. I also remember putting on some music (with my cell phone and a speaker) and was jamming to music. Also at some point during this time, I am able to teleport home to go to sleep in my own bed when the night time comes. When I wake up in the morning though, I know that I can't start over, and that I have to teleport back. Which I do. This is when I was thinking that I would prefer this way of transportation to a car any day. I am also able to fall asleep on the horse during the afternoon for a nap, and when I wake up I know I am not lost. It was like "wow cool! You kept us on the right path even though I was asleep".

Eventually, the highway that I am on turns to a dirt road, and I know that I was supposed to make a turn that I missed (that was recently missed while I was newly awake). (The highway does not turn into a dirt road in real life, but I would have had to turn onto a different highway to get to this particular city in real life. I have looked up the way on a map). ANYWAYS ... I turn around, and I start to look for my turn. As I do there is two dirt roads that I can choose from, but it is almost like the horse chooses for me here, and it decides to go up a mountain (I am in the middle of Kansas so I don't know why subconsciously I put a mountain here), and it is very easy to get to the top of the mountain. It is also a very quick trail that takes us up to the very top.

Once there, I look out into a city (that starts with an A because I see a sign. I can't remember the name of the city). I know that somewhere in there I can get directions to point be in the correct way of Wichita again. So I ride into town, and I look around. I remember seeing a lot of farm houses, and railroad tracks on the outskirts of town. Then, I see a church, and I know I should go in if I want to find my way. (I am religious).

Inside the church they were just starting mass, and I found a seat. At this point my cousin is there with me (this is the 1st time she is in my dream. In real life she is my best friend, and we are very close. We tell each other everything, but I haven't been talking to her much this last month). The sermon was great, and I remember feeling very uplifted at this point. Almost like it was giving me the energy needed. I also remember my cousin being very happy about the mass, and she as smiling at me. I remember telling her that I needed to find someone to get directions from.

I find this very nice man that is shorter than me. (I do not know this person in real life). I ask him for directions, and he takes me outside the church. When we are out there he points in a southeast direction, and tells me that the border of Wichita is just 20 miles that way. He wasn't pointing down a road, and he didn't tell me a highway, but I knew that I needed to head in that general direction. I remember thinking at this point that my cousin can't come with me. That the horse didn't have enough room for the both of us. So I leave here there, and start back down the road...

This is when I woke up...

Lastly, I think I should add that I looked up the route between me and Wichita Kansas if I were to stop in Garden City Kansas on my way. There is only one way (with one turn). I would get on the highway that I talk about above, and I would have to make a turn on a different highway (near the end). (This highway does not actually turn to a dirt road, but I would start going too far north if I didn't make my turn here). If I were to take the turn onto the highway there is a small town called Mount Hope, and there are railroad tracks here. If I were to follow these railroad track (instead of the highway) I would get into a town called Andale. (The pictures of this town remind me a lot of my dream town). There is also a catholic church exactly where my dream church was in the town. (I am also born/raised catholic). ALSO, if I were to follow directly southeast from the church it is 20 miles from the border of Wichita Kansas.

I really don't know if those parts I was just placing together when I looked at a map, or if they really are trying to tell me to go here. But I thought someone might find that as interesting as I did.
