Thread: Strange upsetting dream

I don't really remember much but I'd still like to hear what you guys think, I'll do my best to get as much down as I can. I don't remember how the dream started at all, I just remember being very afraid and running from something through my house. like something was hunting me down and there were like beams of light coming from the sky and through doorways and windows. I have a vague memory of something catching up to me and then things start to get really dark... I don't remember a transfer but it started in my current home, I remember making my way upstairs and some girl was with me but I don't know who. in the dream I picked her up and shoved here into a small opening that had a door much like a dumb waiter would have, I remember knowing that something in there would kill her and that I couldn't let her out. I felt very afraid and kept shutting the door every time she'd try to open it, I remember being very sad but mostly just afraid. I didn't know why I was doing it I just felt like I had too.. while this was happening I started to hear what sounded like a radio broadcast about an imminent nuclear disaster and hurried down the stairs, unable to find my boyfriend I became very afraid as the broadcast became louder and louder. after a moment there was a rushing sound and it was as if reality was falling apart, it looked like everything was being torn apart atom by atom and thrown into an abyss. it slowly made it's way towards me and in the dream for some reason I thought it was a nuclear blast, the last thing I did was run to my mother and hugged onto her tightly. I remember the strange effect hitting me, and everything faded to black and all I could do was cry, in that moment I thought I was literally dying and that some sort of abyss was waiting for me, the moment everything faded into nothing I snapped awake and just laid there crying for a while..

I won't blame you guys if you have nothing to say, it was a very dark, sad dream, with many missing details.
