      Question Floating horse heads

In last nights dream I'm visiting some night markets, or fair. I'm standing at a stall buying something, maybe food, it doesn't seem that important, but then I look up and I see I sky full of horse heads floating or flying across the sky like they're migrating from one place to another. The Horses heads are beautifully coloured in bright neon colours with "day of the dead" type patterns over them.

One of the horse heads stops and floats down to me. Initially I'm scared, but someone next to me reaches out and touches the horse first, which gives me the confidence to do so as well. When nothing bad happens from doing so, I begin patting and holding the horse with both hands and after a minute or so I find an emotional connection and an exchange of love with the horse, who stays for a few moments longer and then floats away in the direction the horses have come from, and when I look back I see my new friend lying dead in the gutter. I feel sad. and wake up.

I'm thinking the horse head maybe a warning from the spirit world, maybe form an animal soul caught in purgatory who's trying to do some good or offer some warning before it can be in peace. I'm not sure.

I've made a couple of pictures to illustrate the scene. I'd love to hear other interpretations of this dream, because I feel like the symbology is quite strong, and different from everyday dreams.

The scene indicates a situation in which you may be in the market for some food for thought that could provide you with emotional satisfaction (buying food) but you are not using the Lord's intelligence when doing this. (night) You are also in the dark, lacking in knowledge and awareness, when giving honour and respect to (looking up at) an idea seen as migrating horse heads.

The horse heads represent the logic or reasoning that governs a feeling of self esteem, self respect and self worth. Seeing the heads as if flying and migrating associates this issue with birds, making it a spiritual issue. The bright neon colours make the logic for self esteem appear very emotionally appealing but it seems "advertised" (as with neon lighting) with the design or intent of making this idea seem deadly. (day of the dead pattern)

By floating down to you, it can suggest that the logic for self esteem be seen in more down to earth terms, more rationally and less imaginatively. [Note that flying horse heads is very unrealistic.] On rational grounds, an aspect of yourself dares feel the reality of this idea/feeling (someone touches it) and there are no unfavourable consequences. You can come to find an emotional connection with the logic for self esteem, self respect and self-worth.

Yet when left to regain the position of imaginative and spiritual thinking, this idea is soon terminated. You can feel sad about this and need to come to a greater state of awareness.
      {Note that a horse stands on high legs, implying that a feeling of self esteem is based on having high principles. Where such principles are lived a human has the right to feel good about himself. God designed horses to stand on rational grounds of reasoning (on earth). Don't confuse self esteem with pride which is a spiritual issue.}

      Lightbulb Night Of The Living

Maybe your thought was a sign to connect with bright emotion you see vividly will overcome darkness, yet maybe that was dead in some way.
Maybe you wanted to transition, as horses are a good symbol of movement, power, and independence. Maybe this thought was up in the air.
But there is a herd, though just of the thought. So may be about connecting with others too, emotionally.

Maybe in fear you wait for others to reach out to you, to give you confidence, giving you this emotional connection, and love.
But this was done just with one horse, with you, and you need join the others to get where you are going, and gain this.
Because when you look back, maybe to how you have been or what's happened, your friend is dead.
So the dead aspect might be about friends or others, you want to connect with, giving new life in a new day.

In a way the horse head is a warning from the spirit - yours.
Maybe your lower self is caught in a form of purgatory, so to speak, who's trying to do some good, or offers some warning before you can be in peace.

Possibly to take the initiative, in order to vividly connect with others if the dream is about that. That you don't have to wait for others.
Maybe the self esteem is about that.
