Lutavsc,
Idk what you call them in Brazil - yo no hablo portugués - are you a villero?
I know that at certain times of year, there is always a greater threat of violence felt in cities like Buenos Aires, espcially at festivals and some parties and whatever. Maybe it is similar in Brazil. It is natural to worry for your own safety, and sometimes this can lead to associating with people and places that are more dangerous - because it is better to be among wolves than sheep when wolves are hunting, right?
Are you aware of the old custom from this area of the world to take out the eyes of the dead so they cannot see in the spirit world? It is usually a punishment.
Or that some people from old times would put coins or precious metal discs onto the eyes of the dead, so they can pay the ferryman to the spirit world..?
When you look into someone's eyes, it is a very intimate connection. In our mind, it is like unity, which conforms with the fact that he was the only one who believed you.
If you stare into someone's eyes without breaking contact for long enough - it is possible to see many faces. Of people you know, of people you don't know (but must have seen, as the brain cannot "conjour" up a face it has not seen). There have been scientific studies of this.
You said he was a friend, but earlier you stated that he was a stranger...
To gaze into a stranger's eyes is a search for recognition - often the stranger is ourselves in our mind's eye.
The big parties in the city, where the people are killing themselves through their own hedonism...
The parts of town you must visit, where the people are becoming increasingly threatening and unpredictable...
The friend who is a stranger, who identifies with you before slowly becoming blind, animalistic, and finally has his eyes replaced by metal discs.
I would say that you are feeling some anxiety that a life which involves parties and places of danger, either from people or drugs or violence or whatever, is causing you to hold some fear that you (or someone you know) will lose connection.
Inside some kinds of shamanism, the eyes of the body cannot see many things in this world. Bruja the same.
It is important to not lose or become blind to your mind's eye through associating with the wrong people, which might lead to ingesting substances or performing actions that are not conducive to how you see your own spirit.
Personally, I do not think it is particularly healthy to interpret our own dreams out loud.
If there is something happening in your life that you feel is removing you from your path and causing you to write in bold, and underline things on the internet, seemingly panicked - I would try to avoid these things for a while.
Perhaps it is your own pre-occupation with the "not-like-that" devil that is doing this.
If you are still worried, I would go and take about some earthly business, maybe some gardening or woodwork and cooking, and enjoy the cooler days alone or with some close friends.
Belief in a devil will turn you blind to what you yourself believe to be good or evil - you will find only "absolute" good and bad, which are constructed of many things that are neither.
Even a devil is good sometimes, and I do not trust a saint.
You can trust a devil to be a devil, but not a saint to be a good person.
