Waiting Relationship

I don't remember the dream at all, and i know the more details there are the better, but like I said I cant remember.

So my roommate is someone that I am very interested in dating. He knows I am looking for a relationship, and I know that he isn't interested in a serious relationship right now. But, he got kicked out of his apartment and I offered to let him move in with me until he found another place to go ( but I am not rushing him at all). Anyways, I give him a back rub almost everynight and we have pretty much slept together every night since he has moved in. Not meaning we have had sex every night, but just sleep. (POSSIBLE T.M.I.) However, we did have sex last night (and its not like it was our first time, we have done it with each other before) and it was not very good. It was enjoyable, but I wasn't ready and that made things difficult.

Anyways, the only aspect of the dream that I remember was him telling me he would let me know in a week if he wants a relationship or not. It felt like he was actually saying that to me, not that I was dreaming. But does this mean it is good news for me or bad news? I tried looking on dream dictionary at the keyword "relationships" and it says it is highlighting something wrong in a waking relationship. But honestly I have no idea. I wish I could remember the rest of the dream to give more details.

Is the dream trying to say I'm doing something he doesn't like, or is it saying I should do more to show him that I care?

I don't think the dream is saying you need to do more for him. I think it's the opposite.

This man is taking you for granted. He is using you for sex and a place to live. I'm not saying that there isn't an emotional connection between you two. I'm saying that he is not respecting you as he should, and you are letting him do this. If this dynamic keeps up, the love will die, as love requires that you respect a person. If you respect yourself, he will have no option but to respect you more, and the love will grow. If you let him call all the shots - by letting him stay at your place without a plan or contributing, by having sex on his agenda, etc. - he will lose his respect for you, and you will be left heartbroken. I suggest working on your assertiveness skills; learn the art of respecting yourself.

Remember, your time is valuable. Your love is valuable. Give it freely if you feel like it, but don't stop yourself from looking for what you want (a relationship). Whatever you do, do not fool yourself. Do not assume you will win him over; you can't "make" someone love you. If he is wishy-washy, move on, and see new people. If he comes around, great, if not, then it was never meant to be! But by waiting around like this? You're handing him all of your power, and he will lose his respect and love for you.
