      Recurring Teeth Dreams

Hi, my names Alaina and I'm an 18 year old female. I've been having a lot of recurring teeth dreams, however they vary. Recently I had a "mutual" breakup with the man I've been in love with for the past 7 months. He's in the navy and him working several hours a day was hurting me and we became distant so we went our separate ways Even though we're still in love. We did not have a bad relationship and there was no lack of love, so this has been very hard on me. The weeks leading to the breakup I had dreams of my teeth rotting and me pulling them out, sometimes with pain, sometimes without. Two-three months before our breakup I started these dreams, usually I would be standing in front of a mirror and pulling them out one by one. Last night I dreamt I was at an oceanfront hotel. I would go on walks around the hotel and I realized the people would be mannequins. The next thing I remember is having dinner with a couple from a TV show I watched a lot during my relationship when we weren't able to communicate a lot that I don't watch anymore, I finished it. I showed them my teeth falling out and they thought it was weird, I was also rapidly gaining weight in the dream, they made a whale joke. Next thing I remember is pulling my teeth out, just the back not front, and it was incredibly painful. After pulling them out, I examined them and they were beautiful, the color of blue sea glass, and had a bunch of little dots on the top of them. New teeth started growing in their place, except very slow, and the new ones were sharp and jagged. Someone please help me and tell me what this means. I have a terrible time sleeping and these nightmares are just making it worse. Please

Teeth falling out or rotting is a recurring theme for many people. And our teeth is often such a important part of our sense of beauty and health, since they need our attention to remain in their sense of health/beauty value. So you said that there was no lack of love in the relationship as it came to an end. And because you feelt that this was hard on you. That could mean that the dream are showing you that you might have a problem/doubts about your beauty on a outer level, since you also was made fun of after gaining weight. The dream could very well be showing your problem in a more direct way by taking away your sense of outer beauty for you to realize that this is your main problem/doubts about yourself after the break up right now.

The dream might have taken you to a this oceanfront hotel, to represent a almost honeymoon lovely place that could easily be associated with a sense of love. And that hotel could represent the state that you found yourself in=(in a loving place). Only for you be able to realize that you are actually found yourself alone in a place where you thought that you would find love, and not the loneliness(only you and a bunch of mannaquins).

The pulling out of teeth in the back of the mouth, where wisdomteeth is to be found. (rooted in inner wisdom). Could be the dream showing you that you do have the inner knowledge(wisdom) to be able to see your inner beauty, represented in the dream as the symbol of the beautiful tooth for you to be able to observe. The sharp and jagged teeth could be a sign that you have already been able now, to realize your inner beauty. And that the new tooths is showing a more agressive outer appearence, inorder for you to not seeking more answear by keep pulling your teeths out for an answer that have already been answered.

Hope this give you some help at least.
