I just cannot fathom this dream!

Hi: I have been trying for a week to interpret this dream and I am making no headway whatsoever. Usually it comes much easier to me than this. This woman has sent me a couple of dreams, the first I had no trouble whatsoever and this one stumps me completely. In reality, her boyfriend died in May of cancer. He was paralyzed from the waist down because of it.

Here is the dream: I had a dream where I knew Paul had passed away. It seemed like months had passed when I got a message from him letting me know he was doing better. I was confused as to me I knew he had passed away.

When Paul was alive he lived in Gatineau, QC. It was an hour and 40 minute drive every weekend for me.

However, in the dream I learned of a new way to get there in 45 minutes by taking the #3 highway.(There is no #3 highway in the area mentioned) The hi-way was straight, all but a slight left turn to get to his apartment which seemed to be around Montreal, not Gatineau. When I got there, Paul was able to walk, not as if he was real well but like he was getting much better (since he could not walk at all before he passed away in real life.)
His daughter who I have met every time I visited him was there.

Paul's daughter was very pretty but always a big girl...Paul wished she would lose weight before he passed away.( In real life)

In my dream, she had lost a lot of weight and looked so beautiful. She was wearing a fitted dress of black and white...(just like Paul had wished in real life).
His brother was also there and glad to see me, but other then that...that's all I remember regarding his brother.

Paul took a trip to my place to visit in the dream...then it turned to Paul wearing a black t-shirt like top, with what looked like a skirt that was quite short on the right side... and down past his knee in a V on the left side of the skirt. The skirt was multi colored with blue, red, yellow, green, orange and black. Almost Native like pattern on the skirt.
Under the skirt he had on a pair of black lycra tight stretchy pants that goes to the knee.

Any help would be very much appreciated with this as the dreamer says it is very important to her.

if this was my dream, here's my interpretation of it...

My dream begins with me "knowing Paul had passed away". So this dream has something to do with my beliefs about death et al.

I first of all note where I am creating the first dream scene. I could have selected anywhere, at any time, in any reality. Where I find myself is in a car. In my dreams, cars are symbols of what I call "masculine belief compartments". So, I am surrounding myself with masculine based beliefs, which in turn are supported by even more masculine beliefs, i.e. the asphalt. I've found that masculine based beliefs usually restrict spiritual communication (we use feminine abilities to do this).

This then leads to the next thing I note...I am now "driving" on a route that is "faster". Before I get to the meaning of this, I first want to deal with the symbolism of a number...3.

I am sending myself an important message to recall the number 3 because in "real life" there is no number 3. Here's what Angel Numbers (do an internet search for this) says about the number 3:

Number 3 carries the vibrations of communication and self-expression, adventure, inspiration and creativity, humour, optimism and joy, spontaneity and enthusiasm. What I have found is that outside our bodies, in the multiverse we live in, there is no time and distance. So why then am I using a dream where I can "get there faster"?

The idea of "progress", "time" and "calculating a course' are what I call belief effects of the masculine based beliefs I am using to move through my life, i.e. "drive through it". So I make a mental note to myself to meditate on this since I am drawing it to my attention. Then the scene changed...

I am now with Paul, He is walking but still having some difficulties. In my dreams, walking is a way of showing myself that I am spiritually working through things at a steady spiritual pace (which i have found is much longer than in real life). So Paul is showing me he is making steady progress spiritually BUT still has things to work on since his transition.

i also note that we are in a room, which I call a belief compartment. So he, myself, his daughter and brother all share the same underlying beliefs that this dream is about. Note that I have found that when we die, our existing beliefs still continue and we create realities for us to keep working on them. So Paul, myself, his daughter and brother all have work to do on symbols that my car represented and the highways.

I am then focussing on his daughter. She is in her dreaming self, i.e. not as big as in real life. She's also wearing clothes. In my dreams clothes are symbols of beliefs we "spiritually wear". Her dress is fitted and is black and white.

i note that the dress is "fitted" i.e. it's custom made for her spiritually and also to please her appearance in the eyes of others. This is a symbol in my dreams of judging myself by how others judge me. Since it's my dream, I too must share some of the same underlying beliefs. As I progress spiritually addressing certain belief rooms. i find myself slowly losing my clothing.

Colours are also important in my dreams. i find them to relate to my chakras and are a way of showing me how my beliefs are affecting my physical body. Her dress has some low vibration colour in it, i.e. black. If this was my dream, i would feel compelled to share the dream with her to help her out on her spiritual voyage. Then the scene changed.

Paul is now at my place. So now he and I are in yet another masculine belief compartment that we both share.

Paul is wearing a low vibration symbol of a spiritual belief over his heart chakra, i.e. a black t-shirt. Then I note he's wearing a skirt that was quite short down his right hand side, i.e. his masculine side. The skirt is multcoloured. This skirt is covering my lower chakras. Note the reference I use for this is "The Chakras" by David Leadbeater - you can do a google on it and easily find it online.

I note that there is an almost Native pattern to the skirt. This is a hint that he and I have shared some First Nation incarnations together. If this was my dream, I would meditate on this.

Underneath the masculine based beliefs covering his genitals, i.e. his beliefs about male, female, sex et al, is another low vibration masculine belief symbol, i.e. lycra.

In summary if this was my dream, here's what I would take away from it...
* I need to address the masculine based beliefs which are limiting my ability to spiritually communicate with others both alive and dead. I am showing myself that I can improve this BUT I'm still limited by my car, asphalt and paths I can choose
* Paul is making steady spiritual progress - this is good news
* HOWEVER he, myself, his daughter and brother all have some spiritual heavy lifting to do regarding the belief compartment we are in that represents belief effects of judging ourselves by how others judge us
* Paul and I also share some other masculine based beliefs represented by "my place". I wouldn't be worried about Paul - I am in a way giving a spiritual progress report for him and myself on yet more low vibrational masculine beliefs that are affecting several parts of my body. Both he and I have been working on these masculine based beliefs which is why they are shorter on the right hand side. HOWEVER, both of us have lots of work to do to in effect release our feminine abilities, i.e. we need to address what beliefs the clothes represent.

I hope that some of what I have said above resonates with your friend.

I have my own theory about colours in dreams that I can't prove. About 2,500 years ago the Hindi's wanted to have out of body experiences. They learnt that by occupying the conscious mind they could have an OBE. The way they did this was by contorting their body. Today, this is known as yoga.

What is more amazing is what they did once out of their bodies. They saw three energies swirling into the ethic body into several swirling points they called chakras. the amazing part is they then saw the combined energy swirling into small points they called "nadis". They first documented 70,000 different nadi points! Then it went to 100,000. It still is an amazing piece of work they did.

My theory is that our higher self keeps sending us messages about dis-ease within our etheric and physical bodies. One of the ways it does this is by using colours in dreams.

While I can see an aura around a person for the first 6 inches, I can't see the chakras and for sure not the nadis. Most references to the chakras in today's literature talks of them as one colour. When I came across David Leadbeater's book I found one of the best sources for chakrak colours. However, I find in my own dreams that this is not enough. The colours don't match up to his book..nor should they. I think, but don't know, that the colour gradation is much more varied AND that some of the colours I see in my dreams are relating to specific nadis.

I often feel like a young toddler, just learning to walk and stumbling around trying to make sense of their new world. It's me stumbling around spiritually trying to make sense of my new world.

I hope your friend finds some value in the interpretation.

MOVING AHEAD
It may have taken months for you to be doing better regarding Paul's passing. But maybe still are confused.
This fits with the new way to get ahead, or move on. Maybe by not focusing on the two of you, but getting beyond that which 3 might mean. Then 4 and 5 follows or maybe life flows better then, in a new faster momentum the direct way. But 45 might also mean 3/4 the way through - 45 mins being 3/4 of one hour. That you would nearly be there or over it. But maybe this direct way requires you to slightly curve or bend where you haven't been yet. Or you have not been going direct yet.

RECOVERING
Montreal, the largest city in Canada's Québec province, is set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart.
The 3 again, at your heart of your big destination, where you may feel alone yet again can start to move forward - or walk - regarding Paul and get better or recover. His daughter, being the third party, could represent this new you, maybe further clarifying the number 3.

LOOKING AHEAD
This fits with losing the weight or burden you carry over your loss, restoring beauty.
You have to wear the positive and negative, finding the balance, so it fits you and you become fit.
Paul's brother, being closer to his and your age, probably is this assertion and strength or action, which you'd be glad to see but may be some time ahead, though is in your sights.

MAKING PEACE
So now you think of Paul anew, maybe how it is now to apply this thought.
Though negative or grieving in emotion or heart, but maybe more casual, light and free, your movement in the right way may be short, if you bend in the unknown new way. Or maybe you have not gone far enough if that way though want to.
Maybe it was V for Victory, or the intersection or joining of the two sides so there is just the right one.
I think just about all your Emotions were involved, as they would be. Except for indigo and violet, you mentioned all the colors of the rainbow. Hence the highest was needed, a Spiritual connotation, and would no doubt surface in all such situations, and also might feel like being tested or unfairly treated, giving need for such inner strength, integrity, and to become whole.
For underneath, you saw you'd have to stretch yourself, as in going where you have not, and bend in your way it seems, to move through the grief. But perhaps this pictures it is more hidden now or not so much on the surface. Your emotions which are on the surface can overcome it and help clean it away more as they are freed, and life's color's return.

Thanks for the reply. You can tell you friend to say to herself each night before she goes to sleep that she will remember her dreams. Then, also tell her that if she wakes up in the middle of the night or the morning. before she moves her body, to try to recall the dreams. If she makes this her intent, she will recall more and more of her dreams.
