being watched by strange group

When the dream began,I was sitting in this big room with a bunch of other people,although I never saw them. The walls were pale yellow,as I recall,and the floor was gray tile. The others and I sat at these long rectangular tables. From where I sat,I noticed what looked to be a counter with a plexiglas window above it on the western side of the room. There was a smaller room behind the glass,but no way to access it from our side. I also saw four older men and an older woman sitting behind the window. They all had on black robes and hoods. I can't say why,but I felt like they were imams. None of them spoke,just sat and gazed out into the room at us.

I got restless,so I got up from the table and walked over to a door which led outside. I wanted to check the mail. As I approached the door,I saw the mailbox stuffed with letters and a cardboard envelope that had been folded in a circular shape to fit inside. I became excited then,knowing it was a package I had been waiting on. I saw the mailman standing there,looking through more mail. I stepped outside to get the mail from the box. He saw me and I noticed another box he was carrying. He handed me a clipboard and told me to sign for it. I took his pen and looked over the page,but did not see any place to put my name. I pointed to a spot on the paper. "Here?" I asked him. He nodded. I started to write,but the pen was low on ink. I tried again and this time was able to put my name down. As I'm doing this,my sister walks outside with us. She asks the mailman if he knew about this place outside the Poconos. He didn't,but told her about some other places around there. I finally finished signing and went back inside.

I sat back down at the table. Out of the corner of my eye,I saw movement. A brown wooden door opened into the room where the robed people were. A sheriff's deputy in a brown uniform walked in and just stood there,hands on hips. He was young,Mexican and bald. He looked over at me and called my name,motioning me over. I heard someone's voice in the room tell me to go with him,that he would lead me to the circus. At that point,I begrudgingly start putting socks and shoes on. Normally people think circuses are happy,colorful places but I did not think this was a happy place at all. Almost like people went there,but they never came back. Personally,I felt that if I went there with this guy,there was a good chance I'd be shot. I stood up and looked over to where he was,thinking to myself,"I'm not going to any damn circus. I don't want to go to any F-ing circus,"

I have no idea. I understand why you wuld be creeped out. Am I right that as soon as they said your name that you began to be creeped out. I would be startled if they said my name. But I don't think they are really having menacing plans. It's kind of unfortunate that you did not come with the sheriff, I just wish to know what would happen if you DID go with them! Now we will never know :'(

It's kind of weird that you dream of Writing your name down. Then the other dream uses youre name. It's like someone extracted information from you from my point of view. Or maybe i'm just that paranoid

Yes,you are right. Usually when it happens people know the reason they were rounded up. That was not the case in this scenario. Actually the dream seemed pretty pleasant up to that point. Something about my name being called just changed everything,for some reason. And the signature thing is something I dreamed about one other time. In that first instance,it was not a mailman telling me to sign but some older gray-haired man in a gray suit and fedora. I got confused about where to sign because what he handed me looked like nothing but a piece of newspaper. And when I asked him,he just snapped at me to "sign with my accent",whatever that meant.

That's creepy . I think it's very weird when there's this much unreasonable anger in dreams.
