      French upper class

Normally I suffer from too few dreams, but this morning I had a good one.

I was in some kind of rich ritzy hotel or other kind of building that was for sale, sort of an open house, and full of visitors. It had a nice marble floor. I don’t remember if I came alone or with friends, but I went upstairs to an outdoor place. I felt I didn’t belong there because I am not rich. I went inside thinking about rich & poor and “what an alienated majority we are, the nonrich.”
Then the dream shifted to World War II showing this big bright orangish-yellow building that was totally French and upper class, but occupied by the Nazis. The Allies bombed it from the air destroying both the beautiful building and it’s inhabitants. Then the French military was invading the South of Italy, but the Italian military was moving south to repel them. I don’t remember what came next.
Then the dream went back to the first part. I was getting ready to leave, the hostess was friendly & professional, but when I stepped out onto the sidewalk I found that I was missing my shoes. I left them inside and was allowed back in to get them. I somehow knew they were upstairs.

In waking life I am working poor, and leave my shoes by the front door at home even though I’m white.

Well, your Dream Higher Mind is quite willing to give you advanced material. When you thought about the alienated proletariat, your Dream Mind presented you with an Over View of the situation. The symbology of the French Chateau was to represent that French Civilization had once taken its wealth and risen quite high. In Catholic Western Civilization, arts, manners, language and culture had reached a Zenith in France. The Historians Will and Emily Durant who had written that huge set of Volumes on World History have concluded that the pinnacle of Civilization had been French. its been downhill ever since. In your dream this is represented by the Barbaric Germans burning and gutting out the Catholic Civilization of the French.

The Italian Campaigns show you a lesson that many Catholics ill appreciate. Remember that the Catholic Church for awhile had moved to Avignon France. This was as God would have intended. Rome had become a bed of crime and corruption, all while the the center of Civilization had shifted to France. The re-location of the Catholic Capitol to France would have saved The Church. The Divine Proof I have of this is the fact that the Greatest Saint in All of History, Saint Vincent Ferrer, was sponsored by the Avignon Pope. The most Spiritual Brotherhood, excepting the Carmelites, the Dominican Order had also stood by the Avignon Bishops. Saint Catherine of Sienna only stood with Rome, but she was a Roman and had never learned even with all of her Sainthood to not be emotional and partial. But, regarding your dream, with the Italians moving to repell the French, it indicates that the Dynamics of Conflict are not only Rich against Poor, Poor against Rich, but also Rich against Rich. The primary problem with Barbarism displacing Civilization is that the Barbarians remain predatory even after they acquire Wealth and will antagonize into further conflicts to acquire more. Barbarians thus have a disposition for conflict and distruction which is incompatable with an abiding Civilization.

Now, regarding not having your shoes. This is a Spiritual Sign. In any dream, when we are on the verge of some Spiritual Initiation or about to confront some Holy Spiritual Entity, we will find ourselves without shoes. It is something about being upon Holy Ground.

      But you woke up.

It means that you have a Spiritual Dream in your near future.

      (I'm not religous)

I think it's an inner conflict between Left & Right, I'm a little of both. But I'm also finding out I'm not so eager to interpret my own dreams like I am to others'. Strange.
