Horrifying childhood reoccurring dream
When I was a child (5-8 years old) I used to have a reoccurring dream. I would be lying in my bed and would look up to the entrance of my door way and a large dark shadowy figure would walk in and pick me up out of my bed. He (assuming the figure was a male, as the figure was quite large and strong) would carry me down the hallway and into the middle of our lounge room. There he would spin in circles and I would watch the room whizzing around until I became delusional, in a drunk like state. Then I would wake up scared to death and call for my mother. I can't recall how many times I had this dream but it was often.
What does this dream mean? I had a normal, happy childhood and I had no traumatic events happen in my life.
Any interpretation would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
