Thread: Dream of several Earths... Confusing. Any opinions?

Hello, Cameron6897, I’d like to try to offer an interpretation for your dream.

The setting is “nighttime, outside”.

This is an environment which would frequently represent difficulty, especially difficulty finding your way, or difficulty making progress. But the first event consists of you looking up into the sky, and seeing Earth, while being simultaneously aware that you are on Earth. The Earth you stand on represents your present life, while the Earth in the sky represents your potential life, or it represents your afterlife.

Taken together as one scene, I think this is your mind’s way of saying, “In my life there will be times when I will have difficulty making progress, but I know that I have options that are just as viable as where I am in life now.”

Based upon the rest of the dream, I think that your mother may not specifically represent your mother, but just your family (possibly limited to your elder family members) in general. You want to share with them your discovery that life, or the afterlife, is full of amazing and beautiful options.

If you feel that the dream is more representative of thoughts regarding the afterlife, then you want to share with your family the idea that the afterlife is full of amazing and beautiful options.

The activities and conversations you remember having with family and friends reinforces the idea that you feel this desire.

Then, the scene changes.

Hanging from the top of a skyscraper is a dangerous, normally life threatening situation, but you felt happy because you had confidence that your father wouldn’t let you fall. This may represent your confidence that even in a life or death situation, you have all the support you need, and it has been provided to you by either the elders in your family, or alternatively by god (if you identify with the idea of ‘god’ as a ‘father’).

At the very end of the dream, you have the chance to review the life you’ve been given from this unique, all-encompassing vantage point, but your attention is drawn again to your “potential” life or afterlife, represented by the Earth in the sky.
