Has anyone ever dreamt right after you prayed to God for a sign?

Hi, i had a dream a few days ago and I'm extremely curious about what it means.
On that night, I prayed to God to let me have a meaningful dream to help guide me.

      DREAM:
I saw myself standing next to my current boyfriend in front of a 1 floor house.
*(it feels like it's ours) + (I've known him for 7 years, we dated for a short period of time before, and we actually just got back together about a week ago. We are in a long distance relationship at the moment)*
It feels like it took place in the afternoon, probably around 3 or 4 pm, it was a sunny day. I don't see any other houses, but it felt like we were still in a neighbourhood, in a countryside/forrest.
What's significant in that dream is this giant oak tree in front of our house (at the yard) . It looks like it's 60years old, but still very much alive.
Then, I remember seeing birds flying onto the branches of the oak tree. I don't remember what kind of birds it were & i'm not sure about my feelings towards them either. I didn't feel attacked by the birds nor do i feel like it brought me some kind of peace in that dream.
At the end of my dream, I remember asking my boyfriend "Are those birds going to stay on the branches? Will there be more of them coming?".
Then he replied "Don't worry about it", and he smiled.

I would really appreciate every single comment and would love to know your perspective on this!
Has anyone every had a similar dream? Or one after asking the universe for guidance, and the dream interpretation turned out to be true?
      Thank you very much!!!

      Kinda??

The main difference being that instead of praying before the dream, I was praying during it. And immediately after that prayer I received a response that basically told me to use the very words of the prayer as a cipher key for explaining and interpreting the elements and events of that dream.

My own religion teaches there are three types of dreams: 1) The normal kind, which are the overwhelming majority. 2) Dreams of significance that require interpretation to understand, such as the one you describe and the one I had. And 3) Dreams of prophecy which are literal, need no interpretation, and are extremely rare.

Hi. I have had specific answers to questions via dreams and seen many other examples of dreams providing answers to specific questions. In my case, I asked whether something would happen and then recorded the dream the following morning. At the time, the dream seemed to make no sense because, as it turned out, the thing I asked about didn't happen until five years later (noted in the dream but not in a way I understood at the time). It was sometime longer than five years later that I found the question and dream again and then saw in the dream the things that were in my real life at the time the thing happened. So, yes, dreams can give answers to questions (even about things which are apparently yet to happen).

Your prayer is asking for guidance, and personally, I believe every dream is meaningful and offers guidance, and i think this one definitely does. However, there are a couple of things to note and I think a very clear message at the end. . .
Dreams, I believe, are messages to help us become the best person we can be in the situation we are in. For some people, that can be overcoming real life challenges, and they need to focus on those things. Because your boyfriend is with you and because you feel it is the "countryside" (a symbol of the heart and emotions), I think this dream is most concerned either specifically with your relationship with him (is it telling that you refer to him as your "current" boyfriend; there is a slight suggestion there that he may not be your last boyfriend?), or perhaps with your romantic relationships in general.
One thing I think the dream could be referring to is your attitude to having children. Let me explain:
a tree in the front yard of a house can represent the "family tree". Yours is a "giant oak, 60 years old but still very much alive". Is 60 somehow relevant in your life? The age of one of your parents? Or did something happen in your family tree 60 years ago?
You say it is "around 3 or 4pm and a sunny day". 3 or 4pm is past midday and getting on toward evening - but it is still sunny so night is not yet falling, but it is getting close - just like the tree is getting old but "still very much alive".
What comes to my mind is whether you are hearing your biological clock ticking. I have no idea how old you are, so if you are very young, obviously this is unlikely to be the case, but you may be older now than you thought you would be by the time you would be settled and have added to the family tree. If so, this dream could be reflecting your fears of getting too old to have children (you are still old enough - it's still sunny and the family tree is still alive, but time is marching on - evening is approaching). If you are in a "long-distance" relationship, settling down and having children doesn't seem imminent, at least not without overcoming obstacles.
How do you actually feel about your relationships? Are you able to commit? Are you a passionate person (not so much physically, but emotionally and how you approach your life?).
Numbers can provide clues in dreams. As well as "3 or 4" showing it is getting on in the day (ie you may feel time is running out), they may also tell us something else about how you approach life. 3 is the number of the heart, passion and commitment and 4 of limitation. In the context of you in a romantic relationship, are you able to commit, mind, body and soul, to your partner? Are you able to make the serious commitment necessary to form a stable relationship and have children? Or, has something somewhere in your family led you to close your heart off somewhat to protect yourself, thus limiting your ability to commit to a relationship and a future with one person?
Another way to look at this dream is by taking the number "60" as the focus. You obviously have a direct relationship with God and are thus a spiritual person. You may find that you are more drawn to spiritual choices, and this might be questioned by those around you. For instance, while you might be less interested in settling down and having children, you might feel that that is what is expected of you by your family. The number 6 can represent a Dharmic path through life, i.e one in which your spiritual growth comes from within you rather than from dealing with, and learning and growing through, external events. The fact that you pray directly to God for a "meaningful dream", suggests you are choosing your paths in life through what you believe is what God wants from you. Maybe you find that you make choices others can't understand, but that just feel "right" to you. If this is the case, the dream again is showing what is holding back your spiritual development, and that could be a conflict about whether to settle down and have children or maybe join a nunnery or something. I think the fact that the house is a single-storey suggests the dream is advising you to not overthink the issue to do with your romantic relationships (I may not have hit directly on it, but hopefully have given you some clues so you know what the dream is talking about). Whatever it is, the dream ends on a very positive note and great piece of advice "don't worry about it". This might also help you identify what the core of the dream is as it is apparently something you do worry about quite a bit. Could, for example, the birds in the tree represent your relationships with people? Have you had people come and go out of your life? Are you worried that your boyfriend, who has already gone from your life once, is going to stay? And if he goes, will there be other relationships in your life?
On the day to day level, then, could the dream be about your concern that you have had people (men, maybe) come and go in your life? Are you worried about whether they/he will stay? Do you need to take some time to think about what you have and what you really want in life (not, maybe, what you think you should want)? And, is there something in you life that is holding you back from opening your heart more to love, whether that be romantic or spiritual?
I know I have jumped around from different issues here: relationships, children, your deepest feelings about what is the right path for you (even if it seems crazy to others), but hopefully it has touched on something relevant )
