      Scared

      So i dreamnt last night that i was back in my old room of the house i grew up in and Seth my son was in there with me i was protecting him by holding the door shut because his father had walked in before that and threw a rattle snake at us which scratched and bit my hands. Then he tried pushing it under the door to get us. We were scared.

      Damn. That guy must have been a true arsehole.

      The dream shows that you've still got unconscious fears of you're son's father.

      How long ago did you get away from him, in waking life?
      It can take time for the unconscious mind to re-adjust to being in safety. The best thing you could do right now is to remind yourself that you are safe, that will help send the message to the unconscious that things have changed.


      The dream also shows your protectiveness of your son. Even fear doesn't stop you from protecting him.

      The door seems to represent a barrier that is between you, your son and his father on the other end.

      The snake looks like the viciousness that your subconscious sees in the father.

      Yeah he was and still is an awful person, very manipulative and violent. its been almost 9 years since i got Seth and I away from him. Yes that is true about feeling safe, thankyou for your advice. Seth is my only child, i love him dearly and would do anything to protect him especially from his dad.
