      A friends dream

      Well, a friend of mine asked if I could ask you guys to help him explain a dream of his he constantly has, it goes like this;

      He's in his country of birth (he lives in Holland now but used to live in Afghanistan) and he's in the appartmentbuilding (skyscraper or what do you call it?) he used to live in.
      He looks outside and sees another appartmentbuilding at the other side, and between the two buildings there are a bunch of trainrails.
      Sometimes dreams he had even seen some trains riding over the rails.

      I hope you can make something of it all? o.o;

      I'M NOT AWARE OF SKYSCRAPERS IN AFGHANISTAN!!! I assume you mean apartment complexes.

      This is a pretty easy one, a conflict of conformities.
      The complex where he used to live represents his childhood self. The building on the other side also represents himself, but in a different location and a different way, the way he is living now.
      Inbetween are the several train tracks. They are set directions in life, and the trains are conformity, but more than one.
      Curiously these dreams are from his childhood self's point of view, as he looks upon this divide. My guess is that he's still a little cultured in his old life, and this is a small constant source of conflict. He is incompletely westernized.
