I wrote this dream in short sentances to describe what I remembered as I saw/did things.
This man was very evil in general.
Although he was civil to his staff.
He caught me one day.
I asked for mercy.
He granted my wish, but for sometime seldom servitude.
He was getting old.
One day he asked a favour.
A strange one.
He wanted me to sit in his place on a golden chair.
Before a golden book.
Before a golden stand.
He told me that I must open the golden book before four-pm.
I went there at two-pm.
All his guards, both his house and his keep, were there.
I was extremely nervous - there could be traps or worse, I thought.
I foundered. Then I talked with one I trusted. The Captain of the guards no-less.
He assured me.
I sat in the chair with my family surrounding me, some long dead, some still living.
I placed the shroud about me, and waited.
I opened the book, I saw, I knew.
I stopped.
I asked one of the keep guards to surrender his hammer head.
I placed it next to the book.
I thought for awhile, then asked another keep guard to surrender his.
He did.
I placed the latter beside it's friend.
I fought to keep the balance.
For it was a trap my master had not seen, but he had forseen his own misgiving.
I lifted the book, and I was safe.
But this time, it was too early to smile.
The book opened, and I saw it's power, I saw all I/it could do.
My master appeared as a duplication, within a different guise, but him, on introspection.
I challenged him, as did all his guards and he failed to meet approval.
Then there was time that fell around us, wake called but I denied it, I wanted to see.
My Master, the true one, appeared, he demanded the book, even as I denied him.
He wanted the power to secure servitude.
And I denied him.
I took off the shroud.
I opened the book.
I saw what I knew, and I knew I could do it.
And so I did.
----------------
Even though the way I typed this seems to be in a poem format, this was unintentional, although after reading what I had written it seemed to fit the relating of the story of the dream very nicely.
Any comments are welcome!
