Thread: Possibly most Disturbing Dream I've had...Lately.

Ooookay. *cracks knuckles* I'm no expert or anything, but I'll give this one a try. If you say it had a strong emotional impact, then it's likely important...

Alrighty. This started -- Dream-wise -- When My Mom and I, don't tihnk my sister was included, moved. We were on a bit of a hill, green grass, a few neighbors close by, and Lived beside our Land lord. They were a married couple, and Looked extrmely elderly. Anyway, I can't remember much between that point at the end, but this is as best I can summarize. Somewhere in the Middle, SOme guy was screwing with me and let my dog run out into the street and the dog ran out and I said something about this palce being in the country and that not many cars went by. Yet the other lane -- the one the dog was Not on -- had hundreds of cars going by while the one he(dog) and I stood on was deserted. Needless to say I was somewhat pissed at the guy, because the dog ened up dying as soon as I stepped of the road.

Anyway, apparently that guy had something important. I came to find out later that that real old lady had killed the guy and his friend! She had taken the panels off her wall and had the two bodies lying int he wall. She was spray painting them with some Stringy stuff... I hesitantly came up and Thanked her for taking care of them... Guess I was really pissed. She muttered "Yes...I get the job done" in the most disturbing old voice I can ever imagine...I have no idea how to give an example.

Anyway, she went into a room and shut the door, and I decided to follow, ignoring the fact that I was scared shitless.And In the next room there was this large Bronze , and mirror smooth, with the old ladys face on it, and it was moving like a reflection with a Disgruntled ( Terryfying) face... I heard the woman, yet again in the petrafying voice say -- this time with a exhasperated sound too it--.."Yes, yes...I do get the job done..I get the job done. Yes I do-- " Then she stopped suddenly.

I don't know how ( its one of those things where you have no evidence of, but the dream makes it emotionly obvious that thats whats going on..If you know what I mean..) But I think she was looking for whatever that man had that she wanted. And This pause was followed by " Where is it!!" --which was halfway hissed-- " Let me out--- Let Me IN!!!" and then she stopped abruptly and I stopped her movement. She died somehow..

Okay, this is a good dream... well, interesting at least. I'm still a bit foggy, but I'm willing to hazard a few guesses. However, before I do, I'd like to point you to this stickie:

You've included a good, fairly detailed dream along with not just what happened, but also how you FELT... this is good. However, what would be even MORE helpful is some personal information about yourself. For instance, your age, some basic information about your mother and your sister, family circumstances... the reason being, this dream seems family-related, I think... In particular, your mother's marital status & history, etc... because that's essentially what I consider this dream to be all about, though I MAY be wrong...

ANYWAYS... here's the best I can do with what you've given... I hope it's of help.

Okay, you and your mother (also sister) go to live with two old people. The old man seems of relatively no importance, yet the old woman seems to be of definite importance.

My view: the old woman is another side to your mother that you perhaps close your eyes to, or else she is something that you fear your mother may eventually become... nevertheless, I think she's some sort of "sub-side" of your mother. If that makes any sense...

The busy/deserted roads I am confused about... maybe I'll work it out later, or maybe you will, but it's definitely of some importance...

The dog, I think, is some part of you. The "road" thing I am not sure about. This guy that you mention, the one who causes your dog to be killed... this, I venture, may be somebody, or a combination of people, from your past. The fact that this old woman "kills" them, and that you thank her for it, is of huge interest. I tentatively suggest that perhaps this suggests that somehow you are secretly grateful towards ?your mother? (the old woman) for taking these people out of your life...?

I could venture a more direct and clear opinion, but for the sake of sensitivity, and also because I may be WAY off the mark, I refrain from doing so here on the forums. PM me if you would like to hear my honest and direct opinion...

That this old woman (another side of your mother?) wanted, or was trying to get, something from these men is also significant, but again, I don't want to hazard a guess as I may likely be WAY off the mark. Some more personal details about you would definitely help here.

Though I have to point out that we didn't live with them, nor was my mother ever actually shown in it. I live with her now So I assumed that thats who I was living with then.

Personal. Well, Im 15. I recently had some Friend and Relationship (Girlfriend) problems. Which you can read the stem of them here.

Me and My mother are cool, though she can be rather annoying at times. I used to hate my sister because of her annoying persistance to do everything that got on my nerves, Shes a bit older now and respects my privacy much more, but she's still bothersome, I could live without her...I know thats aterrible thing to say about my family member.

Even though I don't really think my mother had any importance, these are the facts - Shes married, about 6-7 years now, and its very rocky. They fight A LOT..at least once every other week.

I also remmber now that the dog was kinda of a Golden Retreiver. Almost, might have been a mut. Now that I think of it...When I was younger ( A LOT younger..maybe 6) I had a dog that was very similar, which my Grandfather sold ( along with puppies) behind my back.

Okay. See, for some ODD reason, I dunno what, I was going on the assumption that you were female. Now since I've found otherwise, that sorta clears things up but kinda destroys the interpretaion I had in mind at the same time. What you've said gives some more to work with at the same time.

EDIT: Just read the thread bout your relationship problems. Ach! Man, you're fifteen. FIFTEEN! Jesus... kids these days. Kids your age shouldn't... ach...

(I'm sorry... I just get a bit upset about how quickly kids are "growing up" in today's sexually charged postmodern society... I mean, hey, look, I'm only 20 and don't come from a particularly conservative family, but even so, I never had to worry bout that stuff at fifteen... ach....)
