Need some insight about this dream

Here's the dream (yesterday):

In this dream is started with me living in the projects (my old building in NY) and my mother had just had a baby girl. The baby had a very hairy back (hair felt like hamster hair). I commented on the little girls back and as soon as I rubbed it again, the hair flattened and 'healed' into her skin. She didn't wear any clothes, just was small and always asleep. I go outside and oddly enough I meet up with Michael. We were hanging around, not really talking much, just holding hands, sharing kisses and enjoying each others company. We got into the intrepid and he started driving, as we're driving down this winded road there was a group of people gathered by a utility pole. An accident had happened. He stops the car feet away and turns to me, "Looks like something happened, we have to go back" he backs up the car. Next thing I know i'm standing outside the car and Michael is gone. His car was placed were the accident was and then I woke up

Now i've been noticing in every dream I have with him in it recently (past month) or so the samething happens. He always enters my dreams towards the end, interupt them if will be, by being around or waiting outside somewhere for me. Samething happens, we spend time together, take a ride in his car to go home and then he either disappears or an accident happens, I end up alone and then wake up.

It's like he's restricted and the only way he can have contact with me is by sneaking into one of my dreams. But it always happens as if he's trying to take me with him. We never make it home together, he always dies and I end up going home alone. I don't understand why we never make it home together. In life we actually can't be together because he is dead, he dies the same or remotely close to how he died in life. But in my dreams he always comesback (like he promised) and before he would leave me messages, hints and whatnot and now if just seems like he's trying to steal me away in my dreams so we can go home.

Problem is, when are we ever going to go home?

I always looked at every dream as him contacting me (most of them he does) and is trying to tell me something or give me a clue about things in the future. But these recent ones have me baffled. If someone can give me some insight about what's going on with my dreams and with him? it all started when out of the blue he showed up in one dream and ever since he's been on my mind constantly.

I feel like any insight given isn't going to do justice to the depth of the feelings you must have in this. However, is it possible that the dream is simply telling you the truth, you can't make it home together anymore since your homes are in different worlds? Your dream may be showing you that you havent come to accept this in you subconcious yet. Do you think you could say goodbye to him in your dreams as well as well as in life?

No... my dreams are the only place I can ever see him. It hurts enough to have to go through life never seeing him again, the dreams comfort me.

Dreams recur because we are failing to make the proper responses.

You need to wonder what you are consistently doing wrong.

Perhaps the next time you see Michael, you should go to the other side of the street. Pretend you owe him money. Perhaps you need to consciously move on.

It is very common to have anxiety dreams of losing things, being lost, or trying to find people that one has become separated from. The trick is to catch one's self before obsession sets in, and simply decide to cut one's losses and move on. What one lost is no longer important. One is not 'lost', as one is where one is. And one does not need old people as one can meet new people very easily.

I think the lesson you need to learn is to let Michael go. This will end this cycle of recurring dreams.

Interesting the girl is always sleeping and you're out at night right? I dunno about you but I can't see how you are comforted by this dream.

well i guess it's because your mind can't let him go. You want him to be alive and the only place that can be is in your dreams. I'm guessing when your down about him he is in your dreams for longer.

In my culture, dreams about dead partners trying to take you with them is usually interpreted as being bad. In my culture if he suceeded and you got really sick afterwards a shaman would have to retrieve your soul. You should tell him to go on without you, give an excuse to stay.

Touching "healed" the little girl. You are the little girl, I think, small and asleep. I don't know what the "hampster hair" symbol means. It's something from out of your mind, memories, experiences. It should ring a bell with you, but it doesn't with me.

Cars in dreams are easy symbols. They often are about control or lack thereof. John is always driving the car in the dreams. You have given John control. At one point, he is even driving backwards. You are going backwards in your life, not ahead. You are also back in the projects were you used to live. Going backwards again. And backwards still, you become a child again, a baby. The baby is helpless; not doing much; doesn't even have clothes. A baby is a helpless creature for which everything must be done. Are suffering from a serious depression in which it is difficult to feed and dress yourself, but you are sleeping quite a lot?

Again, I think, you used the word "healed." The baby is healed by touch.

I agree with the writer who said that the dreams will recur because you are not responding correctly to the message in them.

Sounds like you need to go forward and not back, but you need to be taken care of to heal. Perhaps, to mother yourself.
