the ghost of someone else's dream?

So long story short I had this dream where I was sitting on the stairs of this house w/ someone else, i can't remmeber if they were male or female and we hear muffled movement and banging upstairs, not in an attic but just the top floor. Anyways I right off the bat assume it's a ghost, I haven't the foggiest idea why. I call this guy from the other room (it must be his house in the dream) and say there's a ghost upstairs. I think it's trying to tell you soemthing. The 2 people in the dream don't seemn to pay much attention to me but all of a sudden the guy I say this to looks right at me so very hard i can feel it and says, i think it's trying to tell you something. Then i wake up, and have this horrible feeling somehting is wrong. And something is wrong in my house, I don't feel to go into what it was, but what does that mean? How is that posisble that something I could have no idea about was made notice of in my dream?

There ARE such a thing as pre-cognitave dreams. that is where your mind realizes that something is wrong, whether it knows something you have forgotten to do or it registers the warning sounds and tries to tell you through a dream. I have experienced them before. All it takes is some getting used to and you will know in your dream when they are happening. In fact, the pre-cogs are what help me gain lucidity. Do some research in the beyond dreaming forum about these pre-cognitave dreams and see if you can begin to understand them. I understand how you can get worried about something like this. I got really freaked out the first time it happened to me. All you need to do is set your mind up to "turn on when these thing happen.

Good luck and I hope my insight helped.

I very much believe in precognitive dreams too, but this isn't necessarily one.

We pick up things unconsciously all the time. We have other thoughts in are minds. We are easily distracted. You can notice something out of place and not be aware of it. You can literally smell something and really not be aware of it. You can notice subtle cues in someone's body language; tone of voice; general behavior. You can notice these things on a subconscious level. There can be a lot of cues. Little things that we may even consciously notice, but we don't add them up. The dreaming mind puts things together for us. Often spells out the obvious.

A muffled movement banging upstairs. An annoying thought in your mind--banging around? Usually the attic is associated with the head of the body and you say this is not the attic--just upstairs. You know the expression, "Not much going on upstairs," but in this case, there was.

But it could have been clairvoyant. I don't know.

      Keep a journal.
