      Stealing a Beach Umbrella?!

      I dreamt that I stole a (beach) umbrella from the back of someone's pickup truck. I tried to open it but it was broken because it was just the handle and top part, the actual webbed part that prevented the sun (or rain) from beating on you was still in the back of the truck. I tried to return the umbrella bacause it was only a part of it and I felt guilty.

      I may have been in a carnival parking lot when it happened... or some other outdoor place where lots of people parked on grass...

      Is there a specific meaning to a beach umbrella and why would I steal one, and why would it turn out to be broken or in parts which made it hard to put together?

      that makes sense dreamwise but what could it mean to me in real life?
