repetitive, work-related nightmares!

Okay, so I'm a checkout chick. Been one for about two months now.

I keep getting these nightmares where I'm half awake/half asleep...and I think I'm still at work scanning and packing groceries. I actually open my eyes at some points too and check the time on my clock, panicking because ''it's 2am and I'm still at work!!!''.

These nightmares have happened many nights now, and make my sleep really restless. I swear if someone was to watch me I'd be doing actions too, since sometimes I catch myself trying to 'lift and scan' my bedsheets.

Bizzare. Any ideas/recommendations? It's hell working all day AND night!! :shock:

lol. i remember having dreams like this everyday when i worked at a drugstore. I think you are probably so bored at work that your dreams might be trying to give you something to think about while you are there, so they stick you at work and give you the freedom to do whatever. It might be a shot at fantasy liberation? i dont know though. those boring dreams are tricky, and very hard, but not impossible, to become lucid in.

Mindless, repetitive jobs are stressful. It's a stress dream. I've had them. It's awful. You never really leave work. Maybe you can find a more interesting, less stressful job. The dreams probably won't quite until you do.
