      Rubbery Baby

I dreamed about my infant nephew, but it was weird. In real life he's about 2, but in the dream much younger, and active, and rubbery. He could stretch his neck about a foot to look around the room, and was excited all the time.
(Contrary to reality) the whole family paid little attention to him at first, but gradually more as the dream progressed. In the end I was hugging him, he vomited on my shoulder, and so I took a shower (in my parents' house.)
It was just a weird feeling kind of dream.

I do love him, but my feelings are closer to that of a brother than a parent, while as an uncle I should be closer to a parent. I'm also just always waiting for him to be more than a baby.

the fact that he was rubbery could be your thought about how reziliant (sp?) he is. we all know how little boys bounce back so well from injuries n such. the family paying little attention to him at first could be maybe that u think you see something special in him that the others don't. You say you are always waiting for him to be more than a baby. maybe you are also thinking about the cool things you will be able to do with him when he is a bit bigger.

Actually he does cry often, but only for a few seconds. He's also quite lively in general.

Also I rarely dream, and it's very very rare when I remember them, so I was also just happy to post any dream I could. Also there was just a strange overall feeling to this one. Thanks for your reply.

I think that your dream is a hyperbole of your life. He takes too important place in your family and influences on every "corner" of your life (rubbery neck). Your family pays too much attention to him, the same as you. You love him very much, but you are tired to be impressed by him.
