I scare people with my choice of shirt

This dream starts with me and the family doing something, which I don’t remember, but then we’re all going to church. Before we go, I’m told by my mom to change my shirt because I’m scaring Mrs. Griffith, who doesn’t look like the woman from Family Guy at all. I change it, then am told to change it again for the same reasons, but this time I’m angry and don’t change the shirt.

I’m not entirely sure if this next part is a continuation of the first dream or a completely new one. I’m going to work; work, in this case, means the popcorn stand nearly a mile out from the main building. This dream is located in what feels like a mining area, with lots of shallow pits and flat hills. The popcorn cart is in one of the valleys, right near one of the ramps leading out of it. There’s snow on the ground, sort of like the snow in Rome: Total Realism. It looks like a flat, white material makes the ground, not covers it. I’m a little bit late (I think because of the shirt thing) and when I arrive I’m told by Marie the boss (from real life) that my grand mom is covering the stand for me. I have to go down some steps to get out of the building. There’s a sort of dim orange glow as I walk down, while the steps are more like very broad concrete platforms, one after the other, shallow and easy to walk down. I talk and joke with a few people as I go down- don’t remember who, exactly, but I think it’s mostly older women, like my job in real life entails. I step outside and am transported to very near to the stand from behind. I see grand mom up there at the stand, and I go up to let her know I’ve got it now. She hangs around for a bit, talking with me. At this point, someone a lot like my cousin Tom and also a lot like Josh Lyman from the West Wing shows up on a camel, telling me we need to go for a ride. I should point out that the company I’m working for is an iron mining company. Behind me and the popcorn cart lies a field of iron ore covered in maybe thirty smelters straight out of Stronghold covering it. Only a few bits and pieces of iron are visible, and there’s no more room for any more smelters. I go for the ride with Tom/Josh, and grand mom does too in a sort of ethereal way- she and I aren’t exactly on the camel, (I’m hanging off the side and she’s not) but she comes with us anyway. We ride up out of the depression and over into the east. After a bit of a ride, we arrive in front of my real life neighbor’s house. Across the street from them is a big open field, this time covered in real snow. Tom/Josh parks the camel in front of the field and stares at it for a minute. A big gust of wind comes along and blows the snow away in a section, revealing a big section of iron ore. Tom is now more Josh than Tom. He gets excited without going up to check to see if there’s more ore underneath the snow and starts talking to me about how this is the biggest find we’ll ever get. He also tells me to keep it quiet until we get back or people might try mining it themselves. At this point, the neighbor’s door flies open and a giant block of ice is kicked out. I think there was some mining stuff on top of it too, but I can’t remember. The block slides all the way down their yard and across the road and into the iron field, sort of like a possessive “I’m going to try for this and you can’t stop me” move. At this point, Josh/Tom and I ride back. Grand mom is still there in that ethereal way, but now she’s a young girl from school who I don’t recognize but nevertheless feel I know. We’re riding back and Josh explains why this is good for me. The company was going to close down the stand where I worked because the iron mine it serviced was full and no more traffic was to be expected. With this new mine, I’ll have many more people coming by, and therefore a lot more sales. As we ride back, something happens to Josh and he disappears. I have to swing up from the side and steer the camel, which I manage to do without incident; it was certainly much easier than I thought it would be in the dream. Grand mom who is not quite grand mom at this point is yelling, first in a sort of nagging, harassing way, but then after a little bit in encouragement. We ride through what feels like one of those tunnels that run under mountains, but which I know isn’t. Finally we reach the cafeteria doors of my school, and I get off and go in. It seems like the company I’m working for is based in my school, though I didn’t know that until now. I go in, and there are a lot of other guys and girls who I know and knew, but who don’t go to school with me anymore. Brother Dave seems to be in charge of the whole thing, and he points me over to a table off to the right, where different “teams” (no idea when teams came in) have their cards. I pick mine up. It’s a Hallmark card, and maybe four or five girls from Middle Township signed it and wrote little things on it to me. I start reading it, but am interrupted by Josh before I really actually read anything. He calls me over to him and everyone else, who’s sitting down in front of a glassed-in conveyor belt, curved just in front of us. We all sit down to watch as things are circulated on the belt, Brother Dave standing in front to talk about the different items. Most of the stuff is made from white plastic, but the one thing I really remember is this sort of giant glove-like thing with dull spikes that Brother Dave tells us is a “meat glove” and that people might be late to work a lot more often if they had one. Not a euphemism for masturbation, by the way. An actual glove for meat, such as steak or beef. Yep. Next I think that we told someone about the new iron mine, but it’s a little bit fuzzy. Then either this dream ended, or something about it changed radically.

Now I’m on a very big, wide porch of a house that feels a lot like my neighbor’s, but isn’t. The steps are similar to the ones in the previous dream- very wide, very shallow, and easy to get up and down on. I’m with a group of maybe two or three other guys, and all of us are dressed up and look similar to the guys from Monty Python. I’m Eric Idle. I’m also holding a chunk of concrete about the size of a bowling ball; maybe a little smaller. We go through a routine that takes us down the steps and to the very end of the porch. All the steps are shaded by cedar trees, a lot like at home. As we work our way down, we finish on the last step and all declare that it was bad and we should do it again. We do it again with the same results. We do it a third time, and are finally satisfied. We all go our separate ways, which seems to consist of everyone but me going back up the stairs. I leave the steps behind and am walking through the sunlit plaza they lead into. The plaza is just one level of a twisting staircase even wider and longer than the porch one. There’s a ton of people walking around, mostly kids from Middle Township High School; I know the ones my age, but no one else. I go walking across the plaza and am recognized and cheered (?) by a few people I know. I reach the end of the plaza, which overlooks another plaza further down. I’m stalking someone with the chunk of concrete, but I’ll only get one throw. I look over the railing and see my target, so I go left to the steps that lead down to that plaza. As I walk down, more people recognize me and say hi and so on. I nod and smile and make some minor small talk, but keep moving down. I finally come within ten feet of the woman I’m stalking and a bunch of people are cheering me on and telling me stuff like “You can do it!” from all around me. I hesitate to throw the lump of concrete. The woman’s not aware that I’m trying to kill her; isn’t even facing me, in fact. I hold up the concrete above my head, but instead of throwing it, I sort of break it into smaller pieces and just let them drop. I don’t know if anyone cheered or not. After I break up the concrete though, I go back to my left and up the stairs leading back to the first plaza. After walking up the stairs, I continue in a straight line, away from the porch steps where I’d been earlier. I’m walking through a crowd of people going to school, and I recognize one as she goes past me. She sees me and says hi first, then that I probably don’t remember her. I smile and say that her name is Dedra Heslow, right? I haven’t seen you in, what, about ten years now? (She’s someone I knew back in second grade for maybe a year or so; no more.) She nods that yes, I’m right. Something interesting to note is that while I remain at my age in the dream, (17, going into senior year) Dedra, who in real life is the same age, is here only a freshman or sophomore, a few years younger than me. I don’t think we talked much after that. What happened next is not something I would do (well, not as obviously, at least) in real life. She was wearing a blue cotton top and I happened to glance down and sort of mentally went “Wow, she’s got nice breasts.” She notices my glance and immediately her nipples flare up like she’s aroused. She’s obviously not wearing a bra, to state the obvious. She sort of half blushes and I just smile. She walks away from me sideways at a fast walk, holding her shirt front out a bit and commenting that it’s really hot all of a sudden, trying to disguise her reaction to me. Her shirt front, when it touches her, gets a little bit wet around each nipple, whether from sweat or milk or something else I have no idea. She’s embarrassed and turns and all but runs away. The odd thing is that the reaction was almost entirely on her side, with the exception of my glancing at her breasts. Hey, maybe I do have some sex appeal I think as I continue walking. I walk into the Middle Township football stadium, into the open area where you can buy food before you go to your seats. The area is somehow open when I walk in, but just tall enough for me to stand up straight and wide enough for maybe two people to (barely) walk side by side. I see my friend Greg and he complains to me that this is the only way for them to get to school. I sort of nod is sympathy and turn back. As I walk back, the open area has shrunk to only one person across and maybe only 5’6 tall so that now I have to duck most of the time. As I walk back out of the stadium, I see one of our tour guides from Spain running away from the stadium across the plaza to a group of people who I assume are teacher and one school bus. Then I woke up with Monty Python’s Always Look on the Bright Side of Life playing in my head.

Any ideas what any of this might mean?
Which leads to the ultimate question:
What would happen if one were eating hot soup with a potential spoon while sitting on a non-existent fence?

No one's got anything? I can attribute the iron mines to perhaps playing too much Stronghold: Crusader, but the rest is more or less incomprehensible to me.

I thought you deleted this dream, you reposted it under a different title.

There's a LOT of detail in this one. I can only suppose it's about opportunity and advancement.

I edited the title, thinking something slightly better than "Iron Mines and Monty Python" might catch peoples' eyes a bit better. One other thing that I've been thinking about: Leo said something in the last dream interpretation he did for me that the girl there was a goddess or something along those lines. The girl in this one had blonde hair and looked similar to the girl in the face, except she didn't, if you follow me. First girl had a long face, long slightly curved nose. The girl here had a short face, small nose, but she somehow managed to look similar. I don't know how to explain it, but they both sort of gave off the same feeling.

Well dreams use all sorts of symbols. In my experience dreams link entirely to the present. Some are dreams that capture thoughts about specific events yesterday. Some are just general paranoia. Other monitor our health. Some look forward to things that are happening tomoirow . others capture emotions that we are about to have(premonitions of tomorrow)

NOW you have one excellent symbol there. You are eric Idle. Now think of the issues from the day before and emotions you felt. has someone called you IDLE? Have you felt you were lazy at all?

Eric idle is also a wacky comedian. What links with wacky humor can you think opf. Think of any connection with the word idle and your current mindset
