This dream is kind of in two parts, but apparently supposed to be only one story Lately, I've been having a lot of troubling dreams about my relatives (grandfathers and cousins and such). I'm having a bit of trouble understanding what any of it means...

Most of my family is in Macedonia (ex-Yugoslavia), while my immediate family (parents and sibling) and I are here in Canada, so I've only seen some of my relatives a few times. I often find myself longing to see them again, though it's not some constant ache. Well, I have this favourite aunt (in reality, I haven't seen her in about two years, and before that eight), who's really easy-going and fun-loving and caring, and I dreamed that we brought her over to Canada to visit. I got really excited and took her around the city.

One night, she and my dad were having this serious discussion, when suddenly, she suggested playing cards. I grabbed the deck and cried "no cards! They're the work of the devil!" Then I set it alight with a match. She got terribly angry at me and told me she hates me and locked herself in her room.

I remember wandering around the house feeling like total dirt and wondering why she would hate me for doing something I thought was right. Well, her older sister suddenly appeared and sat me down and told me that my favourite aunt is actually not the nicest person in the world. So, I was still hurt but I went to bed.

Then what appeared to be the next morning, my parents were loading me into a transit bus in London, England for some reason. They told me to go somewhere very important, and I knew for a fact that the bus would take me in the opposite direction. Four stops later, I started feeling kind of anxious, because I didn't know London all that well and only had a bit of money to get back by taxi. Suddenly, I saw some of my old school friends (we weren't really that close, per se) through a shop window and I got off the bus. We met up and sat around, then I got angry about the price of something at a cafe, and suddenly I was flying (on my own, no airplane) over London, and it was sunset, and I felt very free and relaxed, but also as if I was going to that important place I had initially set out for.

My dream ended halfway through the flight. The flying could possibly be tied to the fact that I've seen Superman Returns more times than I care to admit, but everything else is kind of a mystery, as to what triggered it.

Any ideas would be nice
