Dream attack
In my Lucid dreams lately - that is, while I've been totally aware that I am dreaming - at the same time I've feared an attack from the characters in the dream. I have not been attacked yet in a lucid dream, but the characters of the dream sort of either lunged towards or just had a menacing aura around them, what could that mean? I've always been able to fend them off so far by either willing them to disappear or waking myself up. But why am I threatened in a dream in which I have attained full lucidity and control?
Also, on another similar issue, one of my friends has been experiencing dreams that though are not lucid are extremely vivid and constantly show some sort of detailed crime like rape or murder- not involving herself, but people she knows, as though she's watching a movie. She has grown up in an average family and has not had any particularly violent background or scarring experiences in her childhood, she's an year older than me- seventeen. It's horrible she says, and wants it to stop. What do I tell her?

My guess is that it is in response to your lucidity. There may be a tendency of the subconcious to guard its secrets and keep you in the dark, and that might by why the DCs may be prone to attack, to oppress you.

Your dreams are paranoid.
You are isolated and threatened.
Just like in real life, huh?
