the most disturbing dream i ever had ...

The dream starts out in a parking lot filled with old fashioned, horse drawn carriages.it is about the middle of the day and looks like its about to rain. The "camera"zooms in on two carriages next to each other with a person sitting in each of them.As the camera get closer you can see one is an old lady and the other is a younger lady. They are both wearing very old fashioned dresses. The young lady says "did you know that the old english people loved carriages?"The older lady nodds. The young lady replies with"did you know that they also loved dolls?"The older lady says "oh no, they HATED dolls, look next to you"She had a real creepy edge to her voice. The young lady looks next to her and the camera zooms in on a doll of an old lady. Its extremly deformed and has a shrivled arm and leg and seems to be rotting. It lets out the most terrifiying laugh ive ever heard. The young lady screams and her scream seems to go on forever.I wake up with an extreme case of sleep peralasis(sorry if i didnt spell that right)for like, the 5th time that nightand was way,way to freaked out to go back to sleep.

This dream happend after i wached the movie "the others" that night, which is the weird thing . the movie didnt scare me at all, and with movies that DID scare me like "the grudge"nothing happend. So, what i want to know is why the hell this movie?

This is clearly about the past and reminiscence, but is still strange. I decided to look up everything in a dream dictionary online.
The partking lot is the need to slow down and take time to relax, while the carriage is the need to protect yourself from gossip. The English are probably polite people, and a doll is childhool innocence.
The two women are sitting in separate vehicles and talking. It's suggestive that polite people love gossip, but not innocence. They turned it into something ugly.
The young woman is probably the state of being unaffected and fresh outlook on life. She is screaming, forever, because she is smeared.

My guess is that you were destroyed by a smear job long long ago and it is still with you.

      Dear Monkey,

It is very common to have dreams of disease or bodily deformation. I suppose the intent is to show you the body's mortality and corruptability. Perhaps the Dream Mind is trying to show one the futility of Material Ambitions, as the body soon decays and dies, leaving such earthly aspiration unfullfilled. I take it that the Dreamer is supposed to deduce from this that it is better to refocus one's efforts toward Spiritual Goals.

At first your dream provided an Idealized View of material life -- traditional and picturesque -- the Carriage Trade -- the Height of Civilization. The Doll was supposed to suggest the Ideal of the Ideal -- a representation of of the Ideal. And it was shown to be dead and rotten.

Our dreams are telling us that someday we will die and be dead.

when one begins on some Spiritual Path or another, such scary material dreams occur less frequently, but still occur when we become too fixated on the Vanities of ordinary Life.
