      I couldn't breathe!

      This happened almost a month ago. In my dream I was lying in a church pew, but I wasn't breathing that good. I was taking big breaths of air when I could, but most of the time I couldn't breathe. I was just wondering if I was being smothered in my sleep or anything else.

      It's possible the tongue was sliding to the back of the throat blocking the airway interfering with the dream.
