Hello, I am Nk and I have some Eating Disorder tendencies that have shown up in my dream last night but I wonder on your interpretation on this dream and your opinion on the meaning. I don't know anything about dreams and the symbolism in them but maybe you can help me out.
Okay, the dream starts out on the first day at school -a environment that frequently pops up in my subconscious- and I came in late to English and I was sitting behind Veronica. The teacher was a gay version of my bio teacher [which was a class I did share with veronica] Mr. Clarke. I get pulled after class to the side and I am randomly placed in my living room. I can't re-picture the person whom pulled me to the side but I do recall it being someone that I know in the real world.
This familiar-person tells me of someone she is acquaintances with that is really sick. She has some bubble disease where she looks just morbidly obese but it isn't fat that is inside her, it is air and she can be easily popped. The familiar-person dangles a needle in my face and tells me to murder the sick person whom she knows. But if I reject her offer I will be stabbed and not die but pass out. But, we hear a sound and run towards it and it happens to be my brother. Now, this is the first of many food related references in my dream. The familiar-face says that she will kill my brother if he says anything and then offers him a large glass of water and a cookie as some bribery.
Randomly I am placed in a whole new setting and surrounding but it is still the same dream because there are references to the first scene. I am at my friend Alex's house for his fiesta that he is having in the real world at the end of August. For some reason my mother and brother are also at his house as well. My mother* is the one forcing me to eat because I just want to starve and be thin, in my dream -and in the real world too-. So, I have a really large tortilla chip filled with tomatoes and stick it in the microwave but every time it comes back out shrunk. The size of a quarter. I do this just a couple of times before the microwave gets stolen all together. I speak to this girl Draia [whom I used to be friends with four years ago but I don't speak to anymore] about the English report as we search for the microwave for a little bit.
This girl that I know named Sarina calls every ones attention to her. She starts giving out packages that were delivered during our stay at this fiesta. There was a trend of food related gifts inside of these packages, I didn't get one. This one kid whom I don't even speak to named Adam got Cheerios and started freaking out. He was so excited for his box of Cheerios.
Throughout the dream I never actually see Alex which is odd because it is his party. I'm always being to overwhelmed with food and not wanting it to be with actual people. My distaste for food grows with the dream and the availability of it shrinks.
*while she nags me to eat she speaks to my brother and inquires on how he got the large glass of water and a cookie. My brother lies and says he got it at the snack stand. This girl Maggie whom I know from school starts to whine how she 'wants' and 'wants' everything.
