The Gold and Crimson Power Yoga Dream
I had a dream in which I was attending an evening class on Health and Diet, and there were many nice people there, and then clustered together toward the center of the class was a group of Yoga Practitioners, who were all dedicated and disciplined enough that they all wore a similar uniform. It was a crimson red robe with wide bands of yellow-gold trim. I think they may have also been wearing floppy turbans in the same matching colors. They looked silly, but everybody was being polite.
Somehow the question came up of whether their particular discipline was at all effective. The Different Yogic Disciplines do wonder about the efficacy of all the various competition. It is natural to be curious. One may pretend while in polite society that all Yogic Systems are created equal, but when shoved on the instant, it is rather expected to think that some Systems are indeed better than others.
Anyway, once challenged, one of the Crimson and Gold Yogins rolled up his sleeves and rubbed his hands together as though to warm them up and said “Watch this”. And suddenly little sparkle chains of white light appeared about his hands. Nothing blinding or explosively spectacular, but still very obviously real manifestations of the supernatural. And to show that it truly was the Yogic System, and not just one talented individual, another of the guys also rolled up his sleeves and duplicated the feat. There were 5 or 6 of them, and I think about 3 or maybe 4 were able to manifest these sparkle chains of glimmering white points of light looping and snaking about their hands.
Now, that is only a trick of the hands, when seen in isolation. But when you think about it, this same White Light Energy, if it could be brought to the hands, then it could be channeled everywhere else as well. Showing it at the hands was only a means of showing the potential of using it elsewhere. The important thing was that it was there.
So there I was in my dream and I was thinking “Well, obviously these people have a System of Yoga that is working at least as well as anything I have been up to lately”. But I was hesitating on account of their silly uniforms. But then I thought that there is a price to pay for anything and in this case I would have to wear a crimson and yellow robe and wear a floppy red and yellow hat in exchange for gaining a new secret of the White Light.
But then I would have another Spiritual Credential to add to my already lengthy list. All that I go through and sacrifice so as to be the resident expert about all things Spiritual for the benefit of the Dream View Page, and how little appreciated I am. Anyway, the dream ended as I was resolving to join yet another Spiritual Fraternity.
My God, I think, in my over 60 years I’ve been and joined everything Spiritual except being the circus clown. And in that silly crimson and yellow robe and turban… I would not be very far off from that.
