Thread: Bizarre Dream... This Has To Mean Something

Usually all my dreams are pretty wierd - but I can trace back their origins and interpret them without a problem. A few nights ago I had one that I just can't figure out... so I'm starting to wonder if my subconscious is trying to tell me something.
The bizarre part starts halfway through a dream where I've broken both my legs from plunging 100 metres off the side of a mountain while skiing. My family and I go to the beach as soon as I have my casts put on. In the car park for the beach I realise I have the power to control these two pigeons through the power of thought... I tell them to wait underneath our car for me. But then these two late teen guys appear and ask me what I'm doing with those pigeons. I demonstrate my power by getting the pigeons to peck the guy on the left. He screams to stop so I do. They are obviously impressed but very jealous aswell. They want to show me something, so I put the pigeons on my shoulders and make them fall asleep (I also make them have pleasant dreams). They take me into a small room where there are over a dozen carcases of pigeons arrayed on the floor. Each one has been mutilated horribly, and they all have placards with a brief cause of death. The two guys hint that I was partially responsible for at least one of those mutilations. Then suddenly the guys and I are in this floating house hovering above a chasm (which I fell into earlier and broke my legs in). Out the floor to cieling windows I see 16 pigeons hovering in a circilar formation. Amongst them are my two pigeons. Around my neck I seem to have a red LED screen indicating the date I can get my casts removed. It changes to the number "16". An ominous looking bearded man walks into the room, and explains that the other 14 pigeons are controlled by him. He offers to join our pigeons into one force, but before I can disagree he gets about 8 of his pigeons to stare intently at one of mine. My pigeons rolls around in agony in the air. It's face takes on a human appearance, it's mouth opening and closing in pain, with sharp beak like teeth. It's eyes are wide with horror. I pull my pigeons away and take them in my arms. I say I would rather die and run to jump over the edge into the chasm. The evil man's voice has turned deep and echoing, he is shouting something I can't remember. I throw myself over the edge and put my pigeons to sleep as we fall. Looking up through the light brown mist that covers the chasm I see the man plummeting towards me, laughing and shouting threats. I know that any second his deamon pigeons will surround me and... who knows what? So I panic and wake myself up in a frenzy (I can wake myself up even when im not lucid).
I can't remember any emotions during the dream - but I was terrified when I was falling, which was probably related to me waking up.
