Well, first, what does it mean when a person supposes that other people can have some absolute knowledge of some isolated symbol given only the barest of minimal details concerning the context of this symbol's appearance and action, while supposing that he himself can in no wise infer the meaning of his own dream while having all of the details and sharing none of them.

This person would believe in simplistic absolutes -- that some people simply KNOW things. The idea of Knowledge as the end process of thinking does not occur to this individual.

So the Mechanical Arm represents a functional detachment from Real Life.

The Chrome? That is armor. Our individual here is Armored -- defensive. That may be why we are getting no Details of the Dream. This individual is not going to reveal himself. Detached and Armored.

White and Blue is good. These are the colors of Idealism.

But our dreamer will have to get past his detachment and his defensiveness.
