Hello, all.
I would be interested in your interpretations of this dream. I've always had very vivid
dreams, and my dream recall has always been very good, but this one stands out as
being very unlike my usual dreams. First, I'd like to give a few points about how this
dream was so different from my usual ones.
There was only one room. Normally, my dreams are long complex stories that progress
from scene to scene, going to a number of different places, and each place is usually
furnished in normal ways (i.e. typical furniture and objects that you would expect for
such a location). This entire dream, while very long, only stayed in one room. The room
was a doctor's examination room, and it was completely white and sterile, totally unfirnished
except for the examination table, and there were no windows. Just the one door that the
doctor came in through.
There was also only one other character. My dreams normally involve interactions with
a number of different people, but this entire dream involved only one character.
Also, this dream was strange in that after I awoke from it, I felt very uncomfortable about
the whole thing. On the rare occasions when my dreams do have disturbing content, as
soon as I wake up I realize it was only a dream, and it doesn't bother me at all. In this
case, I woke up feeling totally unsettled by the whole thing. So here's the story:
I was in a doctors office, the usual examination room, as if I had just had a routine checkup.
At the start of the dream, it was as if I had just had my checkup and was waiting for the
doctor to come back to give his report. Instead of the doctor I was expecting, another one
came in. She seemed anxious, as if she was up to something. She explained to me that
my state was critical, and I would die if I didn't let her operate right then. She said that we
couldn't let the other doctors know she was doing this, because they thought it was too
risky, and not worth the risk, but she insisted that it needed to be done right now. She had
this huge needle that she wanted to thrust right into my heart. As she began to thrust the
needle, I stopped her, and tried to get her to explain. She said there was no time for that,
and she had to do this right now. I stopped her again, asking if we should be in an operating
room instead of the examination room, and again she replied that there was no time for that.
I stopped her again and asked if she should't have some assistants and an anesthesiologist.
She said she didn't need any of that, she just had to do this right now. It went on like this
for a long time - she would start to thrust the needle at my heart, and I would stop her
and ask her to explain. She would refuse to explain and start to thrust the needle again.
It went on like this for a long time before I finally woke up, and I felt completely unsettled
by the whole thing.
I know my heart is still in good shape; I have regular checkups, and I am still able to
take a good workout without getting too winded, so I don't think an actual heart problem
could have anything to do with it. Any ideas about what this might mean? I'd be grateful
for any input. Thanks!

you need to explain the character of the doctor a bit more.
was he in a white coat? did he even remotely resemble someone
from the real world? also it might be important to know detail about
the needle or other surgical instruments. as you pointed out it is unlikely
that this is a health issue, unless fluids were involved in the dream.
if you can recall please tell if there was any lights or glass in that dream.
-
She was wearing a white coat, and everything was very white and plain. This part was
also strange, because I normally dream in very vivid color, and unlike some people,
I usually remember all of the colors.
This doctor did resemble someone who used to work in the same building I do. She
was not someone I had any romantic feelings for, but someone who was always
very friendly and nice to talk with.
There wasn't any glass that I can think of, but the whole room was very brightly lit. Again,
everything was just a very pure and plain white, almost as if it had been drawn on a sheet
of white paper. There was no furniture except the examination table, and no windows or
anything else in the room.
No liquids involved, but the needle did look like it was a huge syringe. It was as if she
either wanted to empty it into my heart, or to fill it from my heart.
-
That person with a syringe wanted to put it into your heart as if she wanted to transmit her (hidden) feelings into your soul.
White color symbolizes pureness and isolation, so her feelings whatever sincere, she also wants to keep you away from the outside world - there is no windows, only one door only she has the "!permission" to enter (into your life)...
Who might that person be in your waking life?
-
In real life I would say that that woman is clearly insane, which may be the point of the dream. The bright light suggest this is about something you have great familiarity with. The medical setting suggests a desire to heal. All the whiteness may be cleanness, truth, innocence, etc. And the quack doctor means you cannot believe people who claim to be wiser than they are or to be something they are not.
No window means no outlook. The door means your willingness to listen, but not necessarily to believe. The room is a highly examined part of your life.
To dream that someone is forcibly injecting you represents your negative attitudes about a particular situation/person. It also indicates the influence of peer pressure working against you. You are recognizing that someone is forcing his or her negative and unwelcome views/values on you. - Dreammoods.com under syringe
This dream does not suggest there is anything wrong with you, it was just a check up. But there is clearly an imposing force upon you, with good face but suspicious credibility. The whole basis might be spiritual/religious or more physical or about lifestyle, but when some quack is trying to inject their nonsense into you urgently and secretly then you should tell them to lick it, stamp it, post it and mail it to someone who cares. Hope this helps.
