Hey, my name is Caroline and I'm 15 years old. The night before finding this website and learning about lucid dreams and all that stuff I had a pretty cool dream.
A bunch of people and I were lined up on some stairs in house going into either the room on the left or the room on the right. If you were Republican you had to go to the room on the right, if you were Democrat you had to the room on the left (I am aware that Republicans are called "righties and Democrats are called "lefties" but I wasn't thinking about that when I was dreaming). Although I'm too young to vote, I would generally consider myself a Democrat, so I went into the left room. Towards the house came a big comet/missle kinda thing, the word"death" wasn't really going through my mind, but I think I assumed it would be a pretty bad thing to be hit by this thing. I can't remember exactly, but I think the comet was going towards the Democrat's room.
Before it actually hit, time went back a few minutes and I was back on the stairs. I knew that if I went into the room, that I would get hit so I escaped (I really have no idea how I escaped, I just sorta did?) into the backyard. It was assumed that you were not supposed to leave the house, but I did anyways to save my life. So I was in the backyard, and it turned out it was my backyard(even though the inside of the house is nothing like mine). Then, the comet thing came but I guess all of a sudden I knew that if the house got hit by it, the rubbish would kill me
Again time went back a 3rd time and again I was on the staircase and had to go into either the rooms. Somehow I escaped across the street and hid behind a car so that nobody would I see that I escaped. I saw the comet go, and for some reason it missed the house and hit the back yard (where I was the previous time). Since it missed another one came and hit the house. There were no explosions or anything at all in this dream. Then for some reason I was back across the street and started running down the sidewalk, not too far away I saw sort of an outline of a man dressed completely in black. I didn't want anybody to see me, so I tried to make him disapear(I wasn't lucid, but trying to control what happens in my dreams is something I tend to do). I forget if he disapeared or not, but that was the end of that dream.

That dream was pretty cool. I love adrenaline dreams. And the back in time thing, great.

Well to me deeply hidden inside a dream is some conceptual thought. Although there is one clue here that this is a dream about politics its not really enough for me toi understand the dream. Its likely to be a deeply conceptual dream. In one sense it features you making a choice between democrats and republicans. But do not worry too much. Dreams are baout how we can construct thoughts and feelings. so when you go into the left side you are choosing to define yourself a republican and so that means that there are consequences of that. Perhaps one consequence is that you see the worst in everything. That you feel that things are bad and need changing. the republicans are conservatives and generally want the status quo maintaining. So the dreamj shows you pewrhaps realising this.
Thats my idea on the dream. But really this world of dream language is very difficult to fathom and its easy to get it wrong. Its easier to interpret yours own dreams. I am aware of the types of things that trigger dreams and so I can see how the mind uses dream symbols to construct my own feelings and emotions. Indeed most dreams show you constructing your own thoughts about the previous day. The dream represents some insight you have gained into republicanism

Well dreams are very much linked with our thoughts. In fact dreams link to every aspect of our thinking. Think in particular of fantasies that have preoccupied you. Your dream may relate to something big about to happen tommorrow. If the dream seems to reflect your own fantasies then its likely that thats exactly what the dream is about. Dreams bring to life the reality of our imagination. If you fear something terrible is about to happen then your dreams(like your paranoias and fantasies) will reflect these. Generally a positive dream with lots of action may reflect how you feel about things right now.
