In my dream I was at the houses i lived in when I was a kid. I was holding my dog in my arms and for some reason there was this guy who was our neighbor, that was in my back yard and was pouring gasoline on my dog's head. I asked him what he was doing and he answer "Your dog annoys me!" I was like okay, well don't pour gas on her. And then mu mom came out and started to argue with him. So I backed off a bit. I knew that this neighbor was a criminal, don't ask why but I knew, so I was like well I have to do something so I go to my other neighbor's house and knock but no one answers. I let myself in and try and find a phone to call 911. I see the wife in there and she seemed scared and shocked. So i'm wondering what's going on. I was kind of in a panick mood at that moment, then the husband comes out from downstairs and says "Well well, what's going on in here?" I say: "There's an emergency I need to call 911!" The husband looks at me as if I hadn't said anything important and just tells me I can't make the phone call. He had been in a "fight" with his wife before I had come in and now he was really mad at her. So to punish her, she had to stab 10 knives in each one of her knees and then take them out and stab them back in at the same place. It was so gross and the husband made me watch her do it which was even more disgusting. Then the guy told me I could leave so I did, and right by the door I was so shocked and gross out that I almost puked there. Then, I went next door to call 911 for the dog incident and the husband next door. I got into the house, no one was there and I just took the phone and tried to call (oddly enough I was in the bathroom trying to make the call, and that bathroom was the bathroom of the 3rd house I lived in a couple years ago). It didn't work. I kept dialing 911 and the cordless phone would just erase the # and make that noise when you pick up the phone. Then, I woke up.

I assume that you are asking what the meaning of the appearance of knives are in your dream? Is it possible that you have been unable to let go of an argument or that you've been hung or fascinated with some sort of controversy between two sides?

Dreams where phones and other electronics are very common. If you typically have dreams that you use a phone in, or other electronic instrument, I think it would be a good idea to do a RC every time you used the phone.

To me it sounds/feels like the different houses you're in during the dream may stand for various stages of some situation or a kind of continuing line through your life.
The dog might be a symbol for trust/respect/liability. The neighbour(s) might 'the' whole outer world...in this dream the outer world as you experienced it and/or still do.
You are holding your dog in your arms...as if the dog here is a symbol of how you present yourself to the outer world...with trust/respect (or anything the dog might be a symbol of according to you). The neighbour tells you that the dog annoys him...maybe to you it feels like the outer world doesn't like your way of how you emerge to the world (anyone around you). Maybe to you it feels like they want to tear down your feelings of trust/respect etc.
You go for help (call 911) when the guy wants to pour gasoline over your dogs head. That call for help...to me it sounds like you're trying to come in contact with yourself...or some kind of call for protection...
The fighting man and his wife might me your own inner 'man' and 'wife'...your own rational (and strength) thinking versus your emotion. The stabbing in the knee as a punishment might be symbolic for punishing yourself. Maybe in times when it feels like the outer world is harsh on you instead of showing your 'dog'side you maybe react back in a harsh way...in a way of which you know it is not your way...in a way which doesn't feel right.
The stabbing in the knee...the knee as a part of the leg...the legs as a possible symbol of your 'foundation'/stance in life. The hurt knee might make you fall down on your knees when you try to stand up. Like you're bowing...like the woman (your emotional side) is bowing for the man (your rational side/strength). That she has to put the knives in again after stabbing the time...maybe some recurring thing?
Calling 911 in the bathroom; the bathroom...can be looked at as a place for cleaning (the inside). A sign maybe that you want to get rid of something (getting rid of that which the dream shows).
The #-sign in dutch means 'hekje'...in english: fence/wall. Your cordless phone erases the #...like it shows you that you need to get rid of a 'fence'/wall...to get rid of some limitations you've put up for yourself or which you've learned from others throughout your life.

Pardon my written english...i'm not to good at it

well 911 dreams in my own experience tend to link to issues where you have been thinking that something really serious has just happened and that everyone should realise that it is a really big deal. What issue seemed a really big deal the day before? What issue do you realise that you need to really turn your attention to?

Always remember that deep inside a dream is hidden conceptual feelings and ideas. A dream does not capture the surface details of something. It is not an information gatherer. It is not an essay about facts. So if you had a dream about the D Day landings in world war two it would not be a list of facts surrounding the beaches that took place and the course of events. The dream instead makes some point about the facts. Its an idea that underlies the dream. So try to then understand the dream by sensing what those new ideas are within your mind. So if you realise that the previous day you were thinking about the economic system in which you live and the pressures placed upon you then you know know what the dream could mean. Your dream could represent the thoughts within your midn concerning this. So then try to test out this theory. See if the symbols seem consistent with the dream. Could the dream link to this new conceptual idea as it forms in your mind?
