Hey, A Little Help Interpreting My Dreams(well, Just One)

Hi, first post here. I know this is a lucid dreaming forum but I don't need any help with that, I can do it quite well. My question is about a normal dream I have. I've noticed lots of recurring elements in my dreams... they don't appear in all my dreams except one thing... water. Going through my four dream journals I noticed that water was somewhere in my dreams. In Normal Dreams I'd actually be in water at somepoint, not necessarily completly submerged, but just in or very near water. I never really paid notice to this untill I read my dream journals. I kept noticing water was in 99% of my dreams.

Also, another thing I noticed was this one girl that kept popping up in my dreams. Not as much as water but when I compare her to other people I know, she shows up more then anyone else I know. Her name is Amy Z and what's weird is I don't really even know her and I never found her particularly attractive. I first met her in 1st grade, I was six... we sat next to eachother because the teachers would put us in alphabetical order and she was Z and I was W. In every class I ever had with her from Elementary School to my Senior year of highschool she sat near me. Usually behind me so really I never paid her any notice. Looking back I never actually had a conversation with her, I just made commentary on a conversation she was having or if I was in a conversation withsomeone she'd make a comment. I would not call us friends in the slightest.

This dream I'm going to explain is going to going to make me embarrassed but I need some type of input. Lets get to it:

The dream started with me and an old friend of mine named Mike G. We were hanging around outside one of those water theme parks, like Typhoon Lagoon, Wet and Wild... if you ever been to Orlando you'd know what I'm talking about. Mike said, "damn, I want to get in, we need tickets." I said, "wait here, I'll get them in no time."

So I started walking, people were every where, I walked about 50 yards to this playground area for kids, made out of wooden logs and there was sand. There were lots of kids playing there, I was looking for an adult, kids were everywhere. I started walking back to Mike and I heard this. "okay, I got four tickets, one for you, and one for me, that leaves me with two extra tickets." I turned around and it was an old man giving something to a little kid. It looked like one of those sticks you stick into a bottle of bubbles to blow bubbles, except on the top wasn't a circle but a star. He had four colours, Purple, Orange, Brown, and Yellow. He gave the little kid the purple one... I asked, "can I get the two extra tickets?" and he says, "sure" and he gives me the Orange and Brown ticket... which wasn't really a ticket, it was pretty gay actually.

I walked back to mike waving the little star shaped tickets at Mike and he made a little gesture with his hand, made a fist and did a cheer. I went up to him and gave it to him. He said, "awesome, Orange is my favorite color.[note: in real life he makes it known he likes orange]. We walked in and we weren't stopped for a ticket check or anything, we just walked right in, we had put our 'tickets' in our pocket. Now... it should be noted that we were wearing bathing suits, I can't believe I left that out. We get in and in the center was a HUGE pool with a ride, like one of those Log Flume rides where you're on a little raft and you get to the top then there is a huge 75 degree 10 story drop. The pool was large, at least 100 yards across... in the center there were rides galor, the most noticible being the logflume, I didn't notice the other rides until later in the dream actually. Around the large pool were tons of shops and restaurants, like Universal Citywalk if you ever been there. I noticed looking through the throngs of people I saw Amy, I went up and said hi and introduced her to Mike, she didn't seem interested and she went doing what ever she wanted. One thing I noticed though is that she was wearing a black two piece and her face was BURNT. The rest of her body was the color it normally is but her face was burnt, she looked like her head was submerged in boiling water, it was so pink.[note: I would always gossip about her to my friends saying she must burn like *insert metaphor*]

Anyway, Mike said at that point, "lets go on that ride" and he pointed at the log flume ride. I said, sure okay. We walked into the pool towards the line we saw, the water wasn't deep at all, just up to our ankles. We got in the line and we waited. I watched people go down the huge ride over and over, they all looked happy. We then moved into the structure. It was very very very dark. The line kept moving, very slowly, but it kept moving. I heard two guys get into a heated agruement, but I couldn't make out any faces because it was so dark. They calmed down and we kept moving. We got to a dead end wall and people behind us said, "the door is over here, you guys went the wrong way." We went thru the doorway and we were on the loading plat form for the ride. It was like no ride like in themeparks I been to, it was just the drop. We load on, there were four rows two people to each row. Mike and I sat in the back.

I said to mike, "when we drop look at that thing flashing, it's taking our picture. When you look at it do a thumbs up to it." We go down the ride, I look at the camera and put my thumbs up, and smile right at the camera.[note: in real life I do this all the time]. We get down, it was fun, we load out and Mike says, "lets go find where we get our picture." I tell him, "okay, we'll split up and meet back here." So we both decide to walk around the huge pool until we find where we have to go. I notice all the people all around me and I decide I'll swim around the pool. I jump in, it's not four inches deep this time, its bottomless, I don't mind, I really am a great swimmer. I am swimming but I'm staying right next to the edge, the people walking around the perimeter don't really look at me like I'm a weirdo so I think I'm cool. So, there I am swimming and looking around. Next thing I know I hear a launching noise... like a catapult being fired. I look to where the sound came from and I notice a family of four come launching into the bottomless pool I'm in, they are wearing harnesses and connected together... they were like 100 feet in the air and they just come splashing into the water about 30 feet from me... they were having a blast. But I was on a mission and I kept moving. I get to the end of the pool, where it went from very deep to 4 inches, I pull my self up.

When I get up, I see a HUGE banner being held by none other then Jon Stewart on one end and like 30 other people all around the banner and someone else holding the other end. The banner was about 30 feet long and 5 feet in length and it looked like it was made of satin but I couldn't tell. It was all red but in the center it said, "JON STEWART" in white typeface that spanned the length of the whole banner. Jon Stewart pointed at me and the 30 people just went into applause, I looked behind me and the people walking around the pool weren't even paying any notice to what was happening. I look back and they are still cheering... I start walking and they just stay there cheering... I just keep going.

I then run into mike, at the head of the pool watching everyoen go down the log flume ride. I ask him, "did you find where we have to go?" He said, "yeah, it's right there" And he points at everyone goign down the ride. I just looked at the people going down the ride, I didn't think it odd or anything. Next thing I know, I see Mike and I go down the ride, we were watching our self go down it, it wasn't a picture. The only thing I say is, "Mike! What the fuck man, you didn't give a thumb's up" He said "I forgot"

Anyway, he said, "lets get out of here." So we started to leave. We get to the parking lot and we just start walking. We then get to the road and it's just me and mike and cars rolling by. Amy walks up to us and says hello. The one thing I really noticed was her fucking face, OH MY GOD. She looked ghastly, before she just looked really sunburned... her face now looked like burnt cheese. It was dark orange and barely on the threshold into brown... she really looked bad. I said, "wow, you really got a bad sunburn." She said, "yeah, I did I need some ointment, come to my house and we'll do something."

Mike and I follow her, she doesn't say one word, we walk for about 30 seconds and get to her house, it is a town house. We walk in and it is a very small room, with 3 oak doors. She says, "I'm going to go in my bathroom and tidy up, you can wait in my room." Mike and I open the door to our left and sure enough its a bedroom.

In the center of the room is a 4 post bed, queen size. On the wall is a bureau spanning the wall, forming an L. On the bureau is a television, a 20 inch CRT, it was black and had a VCR built in. Behind the TV was a window with venetian blinds, light was barely getting into the room thru the slits in the blind. Everything was made of wood, dark wood with a nice finish. The linents on the bed were white and it wasn't made, I didn't see a quilt. On the bedpost I noticed some underwear hanging, it was a white thong. I grabbed it and threw it into the corner... then I... smelled my fingers... :embarrassed:

Mike was looking around the room. He turned on the TV manually and a basketball game was on, I noticed purple and yellow jerseys, must of been the lakers. He then saw a tap sticking out of the VCR and he pushed it in. I said, "THATS RUDE! WTF ARE YOU DOING" and I looked for the stop button. The film started playing, it was a general with 3 stars on his shoulder, thats all I noticed he was wearing a green jacket and had some accolades. It was only on for like a split second then I turned the TV off.

Then the dream just went away, the second I turned the power off it was as if I turned the power off in the dream... I was in a black void, a place I go every time I WILD, I knew I was dreaming and I just woke myself up... I picked up my dream journal and started writing.

The dream filled a page and a half in my dream journal. I only got a few characters left, if you need any more details just ask.

Sorry for not asking for specific help. I was going to make a second post but I really had to use the restroom so I had to leave for 15 minutes but I'm back.

My question is, what's the deal with me and water? Whis is water in all of my dreams? I should note that I live next to a river and I can see it from my apartment... and I look at it every day, but that's it. But water has been in my dreams long before I even started logging my dreams.

And Amy, what's the deal with her? Why does she show up more often then other people I know? I don't understand it. But because of this dream I'm going to think of her as pizza face, not because of pimples but because her face looked like overcooked cheese, haha.

And Purple and Yellow... can anything be drawn from those colors? The old man and the boy kept the Yellow and Purple ticket, and when Mike turned on the TV I saw yellow and purple jerseys. Does that mean anything?

Also, what's up with Jon Stewart and that huge banner? I mean I enjoy watching his show but I don't make it a point to watch his show every night... I watch it occasionally. It should also be noted that I was excited about watching the oscars, this dream was logged Sunday morning, that night was the Academy Awards... and last year he hosted... but I don't know. There is also a commercial here promoting CTV with a red ribbon that travels thru all the stars on that station, John Stewart is one of them.

I should also point out that I haven't seen Mike G since May 2005, I moved to Canada then. Mike G just got internet connection this past month and we have really been talking pretty heavily, more then any of my other friends. Mike G wasn't really my friedn though anymore. I had two groups of friends, my straight laced friends and my marijuana using friends... Mike G was part of the group that did drugs. I had quit drugs thanks to lucid dreaming to be honest... that is no joke. Mike G was my friend when I was 8 years old, we started doing drugs at 14 then when I hit 18 I had quit and formed a new group of friends, but I always talked with mike, he was cool with me not doing drugs.
