Always with the zombies!

I'd say at least once a week I have a zombie dream. I try to look up meanings and everything just talks about YOU being a zombie and how that means your detached. My dreams are always me being chased by zombies and I can't find answers for that anywhere.

Usually everyone who I know in the dream starts out helping me run and fight and eventually gets bitten and becomes zombies (I've had similar one's with werewolves...but only a few times). Recently this has even included my wonderful little chihuahuas Andre and Jack B. One I had last week had them crawling under a crack in the bathroom door and I had to beat them to death....it was very upsetting. I am getting sick of these dreams and I'm hoping that if I find out why I'm having them I might be able to get past it.

wow, that's pretty strange. i actually knew a guy who had lots of zombie dreams, but he eventually got over them. reason out the possibility of zombies, and your precious little chihuahuas. or, look up zombies and laugh at the ridiculous stories made up about them.
or, if you are of a certain mentality, where you beleive you have to face and defeat it, dont be scared by them, and stab them in the head or somethin.
(easier done while lucid!)

I had a lot of zombie dreams too, I think it's because I watch a lot of zombie movies: Resident Evil, 28 Days Later...

I remember watching alot of Zombie 'Proof' on YouTube. I had alot of Zombie References in my sleep. And including the fact that Laura from Big Brother sweeps in her local Grave Yard for free!

See that? Next time I'll know, and you know what I'm talking about!

Zombies are the scariest thing for me, even though they aren't technically real. Just the thought of being eaten alive by another human being is SO disturbing. I do like zombie movies, but don't watch them often, and I have a "comedy" book called The Zombie Survival Guide which I took a little to seriously (I now plan to eventually build my house on steel stilts with a retractable staircase cause you never know...), but I haven't read that in a while either. It seems that my subconcious is obsessed with them and I can't figure it out. I've tried to go lucid in these dreams but I just get too swept up in the fear and having to save myself. Stupid zombies, not letting me get any real rest....

Hahah, yeah, zombies are the worst. I hate coming home from my friends house at 2 in the morning cause where I park is a little ways from my house. So whenever I get out of my car Im always on Zombie alert and dashing toward my house. It only happens for like a week though, and then Im back to normal. Good luck with them dreams. Just dont worry about it so much cause, they're not real. And if people did come back from the dead, why the fuck would they want to eat other humans? It's a good question...

I too experience frequent zombie dreams. Persons close to me have suggested that they perhaps symbolize my fear of becoming as a "zombie", meaning an automaton. However, in my dreams, I usually manage to elude the zombies for the duration of the dream, most often by only a small amount. Some times I am forced to turn and fight. This may be my subconscious informing me that I need to face my problems head on or my luck may run out one day. Perhaps that you are captured symbolizes that you feel that you are being sucked into a zombie-like mentality especially if experiences in your life are heavily centered on cooperation en masse.

If you play a lot of games about zombies, or watch movies about them, then you'll dream about them. You say zombies are the scariest thing for you, so that could also be a reason for you dreaming about them.

But, it is actually a good thing. Then next time you see a zombie, you'll know you're dreaming!

Try the page above. Zombies can link to situations where you feel uninspired or bored. But they have lots of meanings

I once had a dream about Zombies and getting caught up with them.
Once I had a dream about being stalked by a corpse and I went everywhere I could to get away from it, I went to a Police station and it was empty. I got into a desolate shop, caught its arm in the door and thankfully I awoke.
