Another Bad Future/Parallel universe dream...

I had a dream very similar to a guy who posted a similar topic title on the "recurring dream" forum.

i would very much like for someone to interpret this, as i have no clue with this dream. the only thing i can think of is fear of change, which i don't conciously have, so any ideas will be appreciated =P

I'm just leaving (what used to be) my house, saying bye to my family.
Everything was dark, i was in my hometown. I head over towards where my mate's house has always been. Everything is the same, but at the same time, changed beyond recognition. As i'm walking, in the sky there are what look like ghosts, Big white balls with faces as heads, and The usual "bedsheet" look for the body. i cross over the road, which normally takes five seconds at most, it seems to take forever, at a normal walking pace. No cars, No People. i get to where my mates house should be, and feel lost.
[in real life, he lives on s straight road that takes 5-10 mins to walk]
So i follow the road, for no reason. i walk for what feels like days, but always dark night. after walking for ages, sweating with fear, at the same time freezing, i see what looks like a petrol station [Wierd Huh? =P this is a memorable part for no reason] It was Very bright, and green o.o
It had some sort of red logo on it, which i had no clue of the shape or what it meant.
Out of nowhere, i'm inside a huge supermarket. there were no people inside. it was brighter than outside, but dark. like a Dull White light. I remember trolleys just rolling around in and out of the store. Out of the store were a few groups of people, looking tired, with blank expressions on their faces. one group was some people i knew from school [years back] and instead of greeting, they were hostile. So i ignore them and continue walking.
[In my hometown, this supermarket is the opposite way (walking from my mates house) from the "petrol garage" in the dream. on the opposite side of the road, in the same direction of the petrol garage, there is a "nature trail" which exists, but nothing like in the dream]
I walk on this nature trail, still dark, and there is a part i would usually walk (with a fence between the pathway and traintrack) No trains passed, i just carried on walking. this pathway eventually was just grass. and this area was getting wider the further i walked, and greener. Everything around me was starting to brighten up, now a daytime (from an out of body view). i carry on walking a come to a gate (to keep horses in). i go through, and lots more grass, this path just seems to go on forever, then i wake up.
