Two Dreams 1 Friend

I had 2 dreams about my friend...
1st dream

I was in a beach there were a lot of people that i know, but i was just standing at the shore and im not planning to take a dip cause im alone. In mid afternoon i was lost. I ask those people (i know those people, they are my old friends) to teach me how can i go back to my cottage (i can see the cottage but still i dont know how to get there), but they ignore me. And thats the time i think of my friend i know that she knows where my cottage is, i saw a famous persoanlity i asked her if she saw my friend but she ignore me. So, i try to look for her until i got tired but still i know that shes just around the corner and watching me.

I stayed in the shore, I stand in the middle so my friend could find me easily, cause i know she will look for me. I waited for her so long until I got tan but i cant still see my friend, thats were i started to cry. I cried to hard and loud theres one girl that im not familiar (but i was thinking if she is my friend or her sister, but i cant feel that it was my friend i think it was another person) and she gave me a white rabbit. I cant see her face cause my eyes were full of tears, but im still calling my friends name. i sobs when i woke up but i have no tears..

2nd dream...

Its the same friend from my 1st dream...that im happly talking to her while were seating on a couch, all of a sudden...theres 2 common friends of ours pulled her away from me and go down to the long stairs while the other common friend of ours was waiting down stairs....i didnt do anything cause i was shock...i just look at them until they fade...

i hope somebody could help me to interpret with my dreams...thanks

The people wre all parts of you. You felt you were being ignored and perhaps you ignore what you unconscious is bringing to awares in real life too?

You want your special friend. This can be a very emotional experience in a dream and takes us back to some of our earliest experiences of life. We look to others to fill the gap but still we yearn for our lost "other half". It sounds like that's what you were experiencing. The sand sounds like a place that isn't firm. It shifts. Below the water is the unknown. You stand on the edge betwen uncertainty and obscurity, wanting to get back home (familiarity). I think you were in a part of your unconscious that is just on the adge of awareness and I wonder if the feeling you describe feels like it is just on the edge of your awareness in real life?

The second dream gives us another clue. Your friend was pulled downstairs, which I interpret as being deeper into the unconscious world, away from awareness. One possible interpretation is again that this is a very early experience of when you realised you were a separate person, not joined to mother (physically or psychologically) any more. That realisation was as traumatic as you describe - probably more so. You really want your friend back but you're in a world of individuals now. The two people could have been your parents, metaphorically speaking.
