Thread: very vivid dream, help please

I had a very unusual and very vivid dream the other night. It's been a while since I've had one this vivid. The gist of it was me and my friend (who doesn't exist in my waking life) were being followed by these two guys. I think they were about our age(21) or possibly a bit older. Definitely not over 35 I'd say. Any ways, they were obsessed with us and wanted to do stuff to us, like kidnap and rape us. It sort of started with them just casually following us. Trying to not make it noticeable, to getting really close and actually touching us or trying to grab at us.

We did everything we could think of to elude them when they seriously started to pursue us. We stayed in highly public areas. I went so far as to jump on the one guys' back (like if i was getting a piggy-back ride) when we were in a fairly busy store. Just acting like we were having fun and horsing round. It was a diversion for my friend so she could dress up like one of the waitresses(oh yea, there was a restaurant adjoined to this store. Or maybe we were in as mall...*shrugs*). They were more interested in her. She was their main target. So I was doing this to protect her.

My diversion worked and I made my way to the girls bathroom to make sure all was well. There were a bunch of other waitresses in there getting changed and what not. So my friend went and walked with them, like a group to the restaurant. I stayed behind in the bathroom so not to raise suspicion on her part.

But they caught us. I don't remember what happened next. Maybe I just refuse to remember because it was so horrible? I do remember we get away at some point and were in a forest. It was kinda late in the evening. I remember running and I think swimming across a fairly clam river trying to get away. I don't know if my friend was with me. I want to think she was but I honestly can't remember.

So any ideas as to what this might mean? Any thoughts, ideas or interpretations are very welcomed ^_^
