Strange Dreams for me, so and son

Last night I had a dream that my son's (who is 9) friend died his mother came over and told us, but really it was a different friend that had died named Tanner. My SO had a dream last night that my son's other friend Sam's mother called and said that Sam was dying when we got there he was dead. My son had a dream last night that Sam was very sick. This is really strange and would like to know if it means something.

My own belief is that dreams are not predictive. However when people who are close have similar dreams it maybe suggests that there is something going on that's affecting each of them. In isolation I would suggest your dream was about some part of you associated with childhood has died. Death in dreams doesn't mean dying, rather that you have changed through abandoning a part of you. Perhaps something has passed for all of you that has been brought out in your mutual relationship. A number of people do believe that dreams can be predictive and I'm no so arrogant to suggest that my interpretation is the only possible one. Hold each interpretation you get loosely and monitor the situation.
