      Flying over a sea of dolphins

      Heres one I had twice. I fly out the window and its nighttime and I'm by the sea and its full of dolphins. I feel welcomed by the dolphins so I head towards them but the sea scares the shit out of my because its night and I don't know what else is in there so I fly off in the opposite direction. Even thought its a lucid dream the unknown of the dark sea scares me away. To be honest thats the only thing thats ever scared me in a lucid dream. Obviously I'd never go swimming in the sea full of big fish in the nighttime in real life because it would scare the crap outta me not knowing whats in there.

      I know the sea represents my emotions and unconscious and the air represents my thoughts and my conscious so obviously I feel safe in the air with my conscious thoughts but I feel threatened emotions and unconscious (the dark sea) but at the same time theres friendly and welcoming dolphins swimming around in there.

      Could it possibly be my minds showing me I need to get over my fear of the unknown because there are good things waiting for me in there?

      Can anyone take a crack at interpreting that one?

      Might be. The dolphins are playful, friendly creatures. A sign perhaps that your unconscious is not as afraid of the sea (unresolved emotions for me) as your conscious is.

      to me dolphins symbolise our own nature and ability to relate to and connect easily with people. The dream also features some unknown feelings.. the sea.. so its likely that you try to relate to people but sometimes you feel out of your depth.. perhaps wanting to get along but also not able to relate to others in a rather intimidating setting
