Teeth wont allign.

For about a year now I have had the sensation that my teeth will not fit together. What I mean is that early in the morning It seems as though my top teeth will not fit on my lower teeth. It is as though they grind along each other trying to fit together but cant. The strangest part of all is that I cant tell if what I am experiencing is psyiological or psychological, what I mean by this is that im not sure if I am actaully having the experience of my teeth not fitting together or I am dreaming it, for once I fully get up the sensation is gone and usually forgotten. Is the physical act of my teeth not fitting together part of the dream or is it being carried over int the dream by a physical act? I tend to feel more like it is the product of my dream. I read a little about bruxism (teeth grinding) and found that is is caused by stress. I don't consider myself stressed out at the moment; however, two weeks ago where very stressful with finals etc. If the teeth grinding isnt physical what could it mean? One idea that popped into my mind is the basic idea of disconnect. The top wont fit in the bottom, there is something not working right in my life in the sense that things are fitting together. This holds true to my current romantic relationship yet this experience of teeth not being able to fit together has been going on long before any sort of disconnect in my relationships began. Thoughts?
