      All about the Candle

So, this dream I had really threw me because it was just plain odd.. even though all my dreams are, this was just.. well odd again. Anyway. I was just curious to see what it could possibly 'mean'

      So here it is:

I'm walking down the hallway of my house and its pitch black, I come to my bedroom door and I open it to step into my bedroom which is also picth black expect.. on my dresser there sat a little white candle and from somewhere, there was like a glow of light coming from behind it..but all you see is the candle and maybe part of the dresser top.

Thats the first thing I notice when I walk into the room, the next thing I know. This guy I am now datting is standing there looking straight at me, with a dead serious look on his face and he says "I swear to god I lit that candle." Straight faced serious about lighting the candle. So I turn and look at the candle again, I look into the glass and see through some of the wax like it was recently melted.. but the candle wasnt lit at all.. in fact it didnt even look like it was recently lit. But all I did was sorta give a shrug of my shoulders and thought 'I dont know.'

Then that dream ended. It was all about the candle! I swear, when he said it.. it was like one of those frustrated serious but no one will believe you feeling took over the sound of his voice. Best way I could really describe that.

My first thought was about the darkness - which I believe represents the depths of our unconscious.

Then behind the candle - a light shining in the darkness. Somewhere in your deepest unconscious is a light shining. What could it be? And why is the light not coming from the candle itself? Like your "shining light" is not coming from where you expect - the candle lit by your man. (Note - the man is not the real guy you're dating, "he" is a part of you that you project onto him. What would be "his" characteristics?)

Like no-one would believe you - like you expect the light to come from the candle.

Sounds like you have a general feeling of "barking up the wrong tree" but only you will be able to identify the true meaning.

Perhaps you doubt his passion for you. He's telling you he lit the flame, there is evidence that the candle was lit, but it is not lit now.
