need some interpretation

i am reposting this as per the suggestion from XOX where i originally posted it.

Hello all!

I had the wierdest dream last night and would like some thoughts about maybe what it was about.

First some background. I have very vivid and very violent dreams most of the time. I'm not sure why, but I've just accepted it.

This dream was very different. i found myself at my coworkers house only its not her house, its our house. were sitting on the couch cuddling watching a " chick flick" and talking about what were gonna do after.

Now as to real life i don't really like this coworker very much. im happily married to a wonderful woman and have no desire to cheat on her, but in this dream its clearly not my wife and for some reason when i woke up this morning i missed her, i still kind of do... im really perplexed and don't know what to do. i didn't see anything out of the ordinary for a real life scenario, no blue turkeys or melting clocks or anything like that, but things that are out of place for my current real life, like the co worker, watching the "chick flick" and there being a white picket fence out front of the house. about the only thing i can figure is my brain was tired of violence, but this dream was so vivid im still having emotional whiplash from it and i woke up two hours ago.

anyway, thanks for any comments or advice that anyone can give!

well often dreas are quite abstract. They may make no sense yet thats because the symbolic meaning is related to only one apsect of the symbol. It seemingly makes no sense. In this case you imediately think of your happy marriage and how this deam makes no sense. Yet in reality it may link to your need to form a closer working relationship with people at work. That you are tired of the violence and turbulence in your own emotions. You need more harmoney at work.
Dreams can have many causes - this may just link to youb observing others at work talking about something similar. That you secretly desrie the type fo relationshiop that others have. You want an utlet for the types of emotions that you felt in the dream.

The connection between dreams and the day before the dream is really very strong. Its stronger than you would imagine. Thats because of the way that the mind is built. We store up memories in short term memory blocks. Then at nighttime we work through these and proceed to transfer them and integrate them into the long term memory banks. So always look for a possible explanation from the day before. In fact try to spot intuitions as they develop in your mind. What made you stop and think the previous day? What relationships have you been thinking about? What strong fantasies or paranoia's have been on your mind?
Of course a dream may have a different meaning. Dreams can be premonitions and can link to deep telepathy. But really do not pursue such explanations before you have at least tried some more mundane explanations. A dream may simply link to some simple everyday emotion.
