Hello,
This sounds a bit like Sleep Paralysis. When we are in REM sleep, our bodies naturally become paralysed. However, when we awake, sometimes something in the brain doesn't completely switch over, and so when we wake up we still feel that we can't move. This is often accompanied by the feeling of a weight on the chest, speechlessness, and difficulty breathing, as well as by a 'feeling of evil' and very vivid hallucinations. It can be very frightening, and for thousands of years cultures all over the world thought of it as demonic visitations. Before science, it was called the Old Hag Syndrome, and it was thought that an actual demon or old witch was sitting on one's chest!
Though frightening, there is nothing supernatural about it. It sounds like you maybe kept trying and failing to wake up, what with all the false starts, and your brain was dishing up some freaky hallucinations/dreams depending on how awake you were! Maybe the storm and the shaking of the trailer kept almost waking you up and causing this.
Anyway, I don't think it means anything. I'm sure it was very unsettling, but it was just your biology at work. Chalk it up as science: 1, forces of darkness: 0.
